"Roman?" Virgil laughed as he walked through the castle. He could feel his mates anger and fear in him as he made his way down the hall. He honestly thought it was funny how easy it was for Roman's emotions to just flip. Of course, once he noticed the air smelt off, he froze up. His eyes shifted as he branched out with his bond. He could feel his wrists bound and his mouth tapped making him want to curl away at the sensations. Roman... "ROMAN!"

"Ah, the dragon..." Virgil recoiled violently at the ice tone the moment he walked into the throne room to find Roman on the floor broken and beaten and tied. The woman before them was in a dark leather catsuit like attire, gold medals and gems littered her top with a crown in her hair. "I was wondering when you would make an appearance. It would seem that my friend was correct. Attack this...strapping young man and..." Roman growled under her feet as Virgil bared his fangs. "...and a dragon won't be far behind."

"Let him go." The woman just laughed as she kicked Roman into a wall making Virgil flinch under the cry of pain his love made. "ROMAN!"

"Ah ah ah..." The woman smiled with a twisted fondness as she snapped her fingers to reveal Logan and Patton tied up as well. Virgil's heart snapped in have at the sight before him. "I didn't come alone I'm afraid."

"No, she didn't." Virgil whipped around to see the King of Ceit and his heart crashed. Behind him was Jan... No. Deceit holding a very obviously distraught Remus by the arm, his own wrapped firmly around his mate neck from behind.

"Janus?" Deceit's eyes just darkened as the king laughed.

"It would seem, you have lost, Dragon. You were all so focused on the battles you never took to think... we'd come to you." The king smiled as he threw his hand back to gesture to the snake. "It's something I learned from my son, actually."

"He's not your son! Janus, please..." Remus whimpered as Deceit's hold on him tightened, despite the snake being completely dead faced. "Remus?" Virgil saw the pain in their eyes as they just shook their head. Virgil didn't know if they were saying there was no use trying to get through to Janus... or if they were saying they wouldn't hurt him just to get free. Virgil assumed it was just both. "Damn it all."

"Come now, dragon. You know what we're here for. Are you really going to force us?" Roman screamed out against his bonds as lightning cracked around him, yet the bonds didn't break.

"Oh, do stop screaming. It's unbecoming for royalty." The queen rolled her eyes as she winced from a headache. She brought her foot up right into Roman's head making him crumble as she knelt down and yanked his head back by the hair. "You should be thankful. My kingdom is adapt at caring for demons. Ceit is the best at dragons. Your pet will be treatest as all demons should be."

"Don't touch him!" Virgil yipped and jumped back feeling a hand grip his arm so tight he was sure to bruise.

"We have this place surrounded, Dragon." Virgil's eyes went wide as Roman cried, both realized how this was going to go, and neither wanted it to ever happen. The king smirked evilly as his eyes darted over to the King tied up on the floor glaring through his bruised eye. "Why else do you think the King of Edawin hasn't... retaliated?"

"Either you come willingly or we destroy everything, killing everyone, and still take you by force." Virgil's eyes went to Roman as the Queen's voice tore through them both. Roman's eyes were filled with tears as Virgil struggled against the man's grip. Sure if he wanted to he burn the lot of them alive. He was a dragon. They couldn't just hold him back but... The look in Roman's eyes kept him still.

"I promised." Roman nodded as his eyes narrowed. A sense of calm filled their bond making Virgil crash. "I promised!" Virgil was yanked back only for the queen to hold a hand up, obviously noticing the conversation in the air. "Roman, I..." Roman cried out as he used his magic to tear the tape of his mouth. If only he could back the stupid bonds. "Ro?"

"Just go Virgil." Virgil's eyes went wide as Roman smiled softly. "Remus, you too. All of you... just go."

"But..."

"No, Virgil. Forget about the promise. Go." Virgil nodded as he felt that surge of love and protective nature through the bond. "Just go."

"I'm sorry." Virgil's voice broke as he suddenly shifted into a small dragon, flying over to Deceit who instantly trapped him in a transparent yellow cage. Roman crashed as Remus just stood there frozen in shock.

"Go, Remus. Trust me on this." Roman's eyes flashed purple making his sibling's eyes go wide. "Your mate needs you." Remus nodded as King just laughed with a vile expression. "You got what you wanted." Roman struggled to his feet, arms still bound behind him, as he glared at the two royals before him. "Now get. the fuck. out of here."

"Temper temper, your highness." The queen teased as he held his chin tightly despite the electricity sparking off of him. "We will be leaving. We just wanted to leave you with a parting gift." Roman's eyes narrowed with rage as the King laughed.

"After all, you were all so... cooperative." Roman stood there watching as Deceit literally shoved Remus out the door holding a caged Virgil tightly in his hand. The royal's shot Roman a very obvious look as they to walked off. Logan screamed with rage as he glitched in and out.

"I'm gonna fucking kill them."

"Don't move." Roman yelled out shocking Logan who's eyes went to Patton to see him as still as can be. "Move and the knight in the back will run you through before you even manage one step."

"What?" Roman rushed over knocking his brother onto the floor the moment his ears caught the sound of a sword unsheathing. Roman had told them to go because he knew they were not alone. He spun around catching the blade his binds, snapping them before grabbing the man's arm and whipping him into a wall. A growl rumbled through his chest as he felt his mind tumbling under.

"W̸h̴e̷r̵e̶ ̸a̷r̷e̵ ̸t̴h̶e̴y̸ ̶t̴a̴k̸i̴n̷g̸ ̴t̵h̶e̷m̷?̷" The man laughed as Roman twitched hearing the sound of thundering footsteps heading right for them. "Come on boys!" Roman yelled out as more knights funneled in. "M̸a̵k̶e̸ ̵t̴h̶i̷s̶ ̸f̴u̴n̴.̷"

"Roman!" Logan called out as Patton slowly shifted to make pull his arms down and under his legs, so they were in front of him instead of behind him. He quickly ripped the tape off his mouth wincing slightly before yelling out.

"Roman, don't worry about us." Logan's eyes snapped over to his boyfriends as Patton shifted closer to help him out of his bonds. "We're fine. You just make you save them."

"I̴ ̷t̶h̴i̸n̶k̸ ̶i̴t̴'̴s̴ ̸t̸i̴m̸e̸ ̷y̷o̶u̸ ̵a̵l̶l̵ ̴s̸t̵a̶r̵t̸ ̵s̶c̴r̶e̶a̴m̶i̸n̶g̵.̶" Roman giggled as he twirled his blade around him focusing completely on the men before him. "E̴i̸t̵h̶e̸r̵ ̵t̶h̷a̷t̶ ̶o̷r̸.̷.̶.̵ ̸j̶u̴s̵t̵ ̷d̴r̶o̶p̵ ̵d̵e̶a̵d̵.̴"
