"Hello, Remus?" The demon tensed as they spun around to find Patton smiling at him. They had just put Roman to bed. They weren't expecting to find the scary-ass blondie right behind him. "I assure you, I'm not that frightening." Patton laughed softly as Remus paled a bit. "Even if I tried to be during a few lifetimes... this me is pure fluff."

"Right..." Patton shrugged as he started to walk off only to turn and smile.

"Are you coming?" Remus frowned as Patton just gestured ahead of him. "We have much to discuss."

"We don't really..." Patton didn't even falter an ounce as Remus groaned. Of course, he already knew he would win. "Ok."

"Splendid. Follow me." Remus narrowed their eyes as Patton continued down the hall. It wasn't long before they were met with a single black door that was dripping with energy. Even more than the rest of the castle. "Don't be scared. It's nothing bad. I promise." Patton opened the door to reveal an empty room and Remus frowned. It was completely empty however in their minds-eye they could see what looked like a large mattress on the ground. A matress that laid underneath an injured dragon. "You can see it, can't you?" Things were moving about. Remus could see Roman fighting against this man in shades, protecting who he assumed was Virgil by the intense scent of on oncoming storm. Flashes filled their mind of this woman with red hair... an arena... Roman was fighting or training or... Remus fell to their knees out of breath as their head ached from the overload. Patton just smiled. "It's ok, Remus."

"What... What happened he..." Pain shot up Remus's spine as they rolled onto their back. Images and scenes played through their mind. Their wide-open eyes not seeing a single thing as they lost themself in the visions.

"Just like Roman, you're in tune with the energy of this world." Patton knelt down beside the demon With a soft caring smile as the demon shook, their eyes twitching and darting about as they watched the scenes play out in their head. "It shows you things... helps you understand the world around you to its fullest extent." Remus could feel the overbearing energy of the room twisting around them as the just laid there. They could feel Virgil's... They could feel Romans... but also...

'DON'T LEAVE ME!' Remus's eyes as this voice screamed in his head. 'Please... Please don't leave me.' Patton smirked as he knelt down beside the demon who started to tear up. 'I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please... Virgil... Someone help.'

"Who..." Remus glanced over at Patton to find him head faced down as if staring at the floor. Remus could see this man in his mind. He had this evil look and everything. Heterochromatic eyes that glimmered with a dark glint as he smirked deviously. Remus could feel the malice coming off of him like a haze of smoke billowing out of him like pheromones. The man laughed evilly as he held his sword up and this bright yellow light spilled out around him. This man was evil that much was clear but...

'I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Please... someone? Anyone? Help... Please, help me.' It was like there was this glitch. A flash that every once in awhile caused Remus to see a whole other person entirely. This one was broken, bruised, beaten. This one had bruised and raw wrists from what looked like chains. His eyes were red and puffy as his blonde hair fell over them slicked with sweat. He was crying out as he hugged himself tightly. 'Please? I don't understand. I don't... It hurts. Please... It hurts.'

"Patton?" Remus's hand slowly found its way to their chest as the tears never stopped falling. They felt something in that man... something familiar. Something... Something that made Remus... freeze up. Their chest burned as the image of that man flashed back and forth between the dark one and the hurt one.

"Why did you come back?" Patton's voice was soft and knowing as Remus narrowed their eyes. "And don't say it was to see Roman... We both know that isn't true."

"We just thought we should..." Remus froze up as they shook their head. "We had to... to come back."

"Why?"

"We don't know." Remus tensed as Patton took their hand. "We don't really know. We wanted to see Roman again. We've missed Roman... and Logan too but... There was something... something telling us... telling me, I had to come back."

"Remus... Janus and Roman both need you." Remus narrowed their eyes as Patton spoke softly. "Roman's going to need your help as he chooses what path he goes down but Remus... Janus needs someone who'll..."

'Who are you?' Remus's eyes lit up as he recognized that small voice. 'No... I don't need your help. I don't... WAIT!' The world melted away until they found themself peeking over a garbage bin. They were what... 12 when this happened. Remus had fled Edawin as fast as they could finding solace in whatever kingdom they managed to find themself in. This particular time they had just crossed the border into Ceit. He was excited. There were dragons everywhere. Or well, Rems could feel them. However, they weren't exactly out and about. It made sense though since Dragon's aren't really active during the day.

"No... no no no no." Remus tensed as they peeked over the bin to find a small boy around his age if not a bit older struggling to pick up these pieces of bread. His hands were shaking so bad he couldn't pick them upright. "No. Come on!"

"Are you ok?" The boy jumped back, eyes wide in fear as Remus moved away from the bin. "Do you need help?"

"Who are you?" Remus smiled as he pointed to the bread pieces.

"We could help you." The boy just shook his head as he went back to trying himself. It was bad though. His hands would not stop shaking. He looked very pale and sickly as Remus didn't miss the obvious signs of a fight that littered the boys uncovered skin.

"No..." Remus sighed as the boy dropped everything again and seemed to deflate. "I don't need your help." Remus smiled as they made their way closer, putting a supportive hand on the others shoulder as the boy choked up a bit. "I don't..." Remus waved their hand over the mess feeling his energy surge as the bread shimmered out of existence. The boy's eyes went wide as they yelled out in shock. "WAIT!"

"It's ok." Remus beamed as they held their hands out showing a much bigger thing of bread... an entire loaf of it. The boy's eyes widened even more as he reached out hesitantly for it. "Go on. It's yours."

"H-How..." The boy stared down at the bread in disbelief as Remus just laughed. "You... You have magic?"

"Sort of. We're still learning control but... We've learned how to do this much though." The boy held a small hint of a smile as Remus stepped back a bit. "Are you going to be ok?"

"Uh... yeah." Their eyes met for only a second but Remus could feel this jolt down their spine. The boy smiled as Remus was held captive in those heterochromatic eyes. "I think I will be... thank you."
