Roman sat there at the table feeling his head spin. It was horrible. He had this... episode earlier in the day, ended up scaring everyone. He was just sitting there with everyone when out of nowhere he... He dropped. Remus apparently freaked out the worst, wouldn't let anyone touch him until Logan said he could heal people.

Roman didn't remember anything. All he remembered was feeling ill. He hardly spoke much anymore as his stutter was coming out full force. He was just listening to everyone laugh when the room started to spin and everything went dark.

Patton said it was sudden. That Remus was laughing like crazy over a joke when everything went so very silent. It was Logan who noticed something first. Logan has apparently seen something was wrong and asked if Roman was ok. When he got no response he started getting worried. According to Lo, Roman was just staring blankly at nothing. His eyes were so dull and faded Logan knew something bad was going happen.

It was then that Remus felt something. They said it was like this spine splitting pain. As if he had gotten hit with his own mace. That was when Roman finally just dropped to the ground. Logan had stopped his fall before he could get hurt and Remus held him close as his demonic half went into protective mode.

Now... Now they were all groggy. His head was still thrumming. His ears were ringing. Things were hazy but... He was up and aware. He was scared. He felt Virgil's pain. And considering nothing was happening to him before all that occurred it was clear that something had happened to Virgil to cause it.

So here Roman was at the dining room table feeling his thought taking a very troubling turn as he let his energy surge and spike around him. His hands at this point were so covered in purple smoke, filling the air around him, it was a wonder at how he wasn't choking.

His eyes narrowed as he breath caught in his chest. The smoke shifted before swirling into a ball and condensing until he held a black patchwork hoodie in his hands. Tears slowly fell from his eyes as he shook.

"V-V-Virg-gil..." Roman groaned as he just collapsed hitting his already spinning head against the table. "C-C-Com-me b-back pleas-se." Roman choked as his hands gripped the hoodie so tight. "I-I n-need y-you."

"Virgil?" Janus frowned seeing the dragon zone out and he sighed. "Virgil... VIRGIL!"

"SHIT!" Janus merely narrowed his eyes as Virgil jumped. "Don't... Don't yell. Not when I'm..."

"You need to go back." Virgil shook his head making Janus groan. "Virgil, you are sick. You fell off the cliff..."

"It's more of a very steep hill now."

"I don't care. You almost died, Virgil!" Virgil flinched as Janus started to cry, his tears glowing a bright white as it trailed down his cheeks. "You were just laying there... I could feel... f-feel you slipping away. It was as if you... If you hadn't been here with me..."

"Roman had you locked up..."

"Virgil Sanders this is the LAST time I want to hear that from you!" Janus screamed out creating a blast of yellow light that made the grass around him wither and brown. Virgil frowned as Janus still continued to cry those white tears. Each and every drop that fell from his cheeks seemed to bring the grass back to life. "You need to stop comparing Roman to Deceit. We are not the same. There is something very very wrong and you just up and leaving him is only hurting you both. Please... you have to go back."

"And you need Lya." Janus froze as Virgil's voice shook. "You need Lya. She would know what the hell..." Virgil gestured to the patches of bright, vibrant, healthy patches that were littered about the withered grass. "... this is."

"Lya?" Virgil nodded as he looked off towards the path. "I'm confused."

"You need to talk to your brother." Janus's eyes widened as he shook his head. "You need to..."

"The last time I ever spoke to him..." Janus's eyes darkened as Virgil sighed knowing full well what had happened. "I almost... Deceit would have... If you hadn't gotten him out of there..."

"Jan you need him to help you. He can figure out what this is and train you far better than I can. Lya was the one who trained me. And being that she's Lydia's sister, she would know you far better than even you." Virgil beamed as he held Janus's hand. "It's ok Jan. It's ok."

"So... I'm going to the castle..." Janus scoffed as he shook making Virgil narrow his eyes. "I'm going to the castle with the men that I have either threatened, hurt, or just did something to and you're not..."

"Janus I am not going to leave you." The snake choked up as Virgil held their hands up to hold them lovingly. Yes lovingly, because even though they are not romantically together, Virgil did care for Janus deeply. Just as much as Janus cared for him. "I promise."

"Don't promise me that... You belong beside Roman."

"Janus, I promise you that I will not leave you.... especially now when you need me the most." Janus smiled sadly as Virgil brushed his hair out of his face. "You need to talk with your brother." Janus laughed as he shook his head letting his hair fall in front of his face again. With narrowed eyes, he groaned at the change in color and length from the year of not cutting it.

"I think I need a change first." Virgil broke out laughing as the two slowly walked into the house with a laugh.

"Yeah... lets get you looking more like you Jan."
