I lifted my head up to notice Rob had followed me. "Look Christine, we might not have any room as an actress on set," he continued, "But we do have room for an assistant and an extra." He hesitantly glanced over at Mickey who was watching his every move.

I quickly wiped away some tears and looked up at him. "Really?" I said, full of hope. He nodded and reached out his hand to lead me back into the building. I put my hand in his rough yet gentle palm and followed him.

"Welcome to the team," He said with a smile. I smiled back and looked around for River to tell him the big news, but yet again, he was nowhere to be found.

Rob left me to continue mingling when he walked over to talk to some people. I scanned the room still hoping if I'd find someone familiar.

I found Corey Feldman, with his arm locked with another girl. She was pretty. As I approached them, with Mickey behind me, I noticed she had long blonde hair.

I envied her. Her looks were beautiful and I hated it. "Hey, I'm Christine," I smiled at them.

"Corey," he smirked then rolled his eyes. It seemed like he hated me already and didn't even know me yet.

"Darcy," the girl flashed me a smile, "It's nice to meet you, Christine. I heard you and River singing Hey Jude and I thought both of your harmonies together were incredibly beautiful."

"Thank you, really. I just love the Beatles and I just had to take that opportunity," I grinned, "You know Hey Jude was actually inspired by Julian-"

"Lennon," Darcy and I both said simultaneously and laughed. "The Beatles, man. They're such iconic artists," She added, I felt myself calming down a bit from the whole drained out thing.

"For sure. Anyways, have you guys seen Wil by any chance?" I had to meet him some way or another.

"Oh, I see him, he's over there," Darcy said, pointing to the corner of the room. I follow her direction and finally my eyes lock on Wil.

"Well it's always nice to meet a fellow Beatles fan, but if you will excuse me," I said, subsequently waving goodbye. I grasped my hand on Mickeys wrist and snaked around the room. There he was. He was alone in the corner and I knew this was my chance.

I leaned back onto the wall and waited for him to notice me. "Hey," I casually said. He looked over at me with a brief glance after digging his hands into his pockets. He seemed to be very out of place and bored.

"Oh, hi," He looked around and we locked eyes.

"I'm Christine, but you can call me..." I knew the pick up line wouldn't work. "Shit," I muttered to myself. "Christine..." I stuttered with an obvious hint of embarrassment.

"I'm Wil," he said with a straight face. He looked around the room awkwardly and bit his lip. Why are boys so awkward?

"You're playing Gordie right?" I asked reluctantly, hoping desperately that he'd open up to me. He nodded and itched his head.

"You were going to play Mary right?" He asked.

"Yeah, I was going to," I added sheepishly. He turned to me and eyed over Mickey who was gazing freely around the room.

"Sorry," he shrugged. We both watched the floor for a little bit. For a few seconds it was extremely awkward until he finally spoke up again. "So did you hear about the new sonic game?"

"Yeah!" His face lit up. "I do... I just haven't played it so I don't know too much about it, you know, but I heard about it!" I immediately regretted what I said and soon felt so embarrassed - I hated the person I become around people I have a crush on. It is just not me at all. I can't let this just happen.
