Chapter 14~"The Royal Ball"(Part 1)

I opened my eyes, the sun shinned on my face.

"Oh, she's awake!"A voice said.

Leyberith...

She gave me wide smile.

"what's going on?" I ask. I leaned on my bed.

"Well, Our family decided to have a ball" Leyberith said.

Ball?

"Ball?" I ask.

She chucked.

"You know, A dance" She answers.

Oh, A ball. Where all the female wear gowns and the male wear, tux.

Wait... I'm going to a ball?!.

"I'm not going" I say and got up.

I am not dancing! absoloutly not!...

"You are going!, and I prepared you a dress... Which I bought, and Ivan paid for!" She says and smiles.

Ivan bought me a gown?!

"Now?" I ask.

"No... later, 7pm" Leyberith answers.

"okay, maybe it's going to be fun" I say...

"It will be!" She says in a cheerful way.

I hope so.

I hadn't seen Ivan and his family. Leyberith left after she told me about the ball.

It was specifically, 6:32.

There was a knock on the door.

I walk towards the door and open it.

"Wow" I exhale out.

Ivan stood infront of me with a smile,

The way he looked was absoloutly perfect.

Tuxedo, Hair, lips, smile, shoes, pants... EVERYTHING!.

I still remember what happened yesterday... The confession...

Behind Ivan was Marianne,

Marrianne wore a Purple floral gown. Marianne looked like a princess.

"Ali, hey. Here's your dress" Marianne said.

She handed me my dress.

Woah...

It was A beautiful white gown, with a ribbon and flower design...

I actually couldn't describe it, because it had so much details.

"please come in" I say.

Marianne helped me with my hair, and make up...

I opened my eyes and looked at myself in the mirror...

Is that me?

The beautiful girl in the mirror?, is that me?

"Believe me when I say, your beautiful. Ivan will certainly be taken away by your beauty" Marianne says and smiles.

I couldn't believe that that was me.

The beautiful girl in the mirror... Is so different from me... But she was me.

Marianne and I slowly went downstairs, where Ivan was waiting.

Ivan was speechless as he saw me, I blushed.

"Say something. Do I look horrible?" I ask.

He chuckles.

"Horrible?. Your beautiful" He answers.

"let's go" He says and smiles.

He holds my hand slowly.

He open the door.

Their car was outside my houd the whole time?!.

I kept them waiting?!

~In the car~

"I'm sorry I kept you guys waiting" I say with emberassment.

"Ali, it's not a problem at all" Vince says and smiles.

Me, Ivan were at the back seat, while Agatha was in the front and Vince is driving.

Leyberith, Julius , Kyle and Marianne were in the car behind us.

VInce drives.

"Are you ready to dance?" Ivan asks me.

"Absoloutly not!" I answer.

He laughs.

His eyes, i could still sense what happened yesterday.

"About yesterday---" I wanted to say but he cut me off.

"Ali, what happened yesterday was... Me confessing my love to you. And I do love you..." Ivan says.

So are we...

"Are we... Together?" I ask.

He smiles widely.

"We are" He says and kisses my forehead.

But he's my gaurdian...

"But is it forbidden?" I ask.

He frowns.

"Maybe so... But, I love you. And God knows That I tried to fight what I feel for you for your safety,

but I just couldn't." Ivan answers.

He loved me so much...

"I love you" He says.

I placed my head on his chest, where i heard the beat of his heart, I wrapped my ams around him And he wrapped his arms around me.

"I love you too" I answer.

When I saw her...

I couldn't even know what to do...

She was with someone else... Ivan Coven, I think...

She looked happy...

If only I was the reason for that, If only i didn't leave her!. I was so stupid!. I love her!, an I can't forget her... Her smile, her voice... I don't even know what her voice is now... I havn't seen her in years...

I wish I could turn back time... I want her to know why I left...

I wish I could give her everything....

I remember when we were kids... She told me I was er bestfriend, And I don't know why I left... I don't even know If I'm her friend...

If only I weren't a Nephilim!

The way her eyes glowed with Ivan was something I never saw In years...

I was surprised to see her at the party... If Ivan and her are together, Then Ali knows e's n angel... and ali isn't afraid...
