Chapter 19~Promises ∞

~Sagen's POV

Ivan wanted to talk to me, As we walked in Sunset shore. "What do you want to talk about?" I ask him. Even though I know what he wants to talk about, he wants to talk about Ali.

His Violet eyes glows as he looks at me, " It's about Ali, " he answers. I laugh , Yes I'm right!. " I knew it" I answer. He smiles, "Well... She revolves around us..." He answers.

Yup, it's like she's the earth and I'm the Ivan's the Sun and I'm the moon.  "What do you want to talk about her?" I ask him, knowing that I know the answer.

He looks at me seriously, "I know you love Ali," Yes "And I know... You want her back" Ivan says. I do want her back, but I wouldn't want to be selfish. "Yes... I do, but... You make her happy... I'm not a selfish person. If you make her happy, I guess I'm happy too"  I answer and breath deeply.

It was true though, even if it hurt. Ivan smiles, "I'm happy... But I just want you to know... If Ali wants to let me go... I'll let her go... I'm not selfish too... All that matters is her, even if it's hard to let go, you just have to..." Ivan answers.

I did appreciate Ivan's understanding though, he's a good guy and I guess Ali is lucky. But suddenly, something crossed my mind, isn't Ivan a gaurdian of Ali?. "Wait, Ivan...," I say he looks at me and raised his eye brows.

"Aren't you... Ali's gaurdian... So, your not staying with her forever?" I asks. He looks down and frowns, His Violet eyes suddenly turn Blue... Did I say something hurtful?! Did I rub on his that he's not staying forever and I could have a chance on Ali?!, Crap... I didn't mean it that way "Oh, I didn't mean to offend you I just mean---" I started to say, he looks at me and forces a smile.

"Don't worry, You said nothing wrong... Yes, it's true I'm not staying... But that's what I'm afraid of... Knowing that there's a fight going on and I could just have the signal to leave... We may not know when... I'm afraid to leave Ali, I love her..." Ivan says. I felt his words, especially when he said he loved Ali, because he really did. I actually feel sad for him, Sad in a way that I don't want any bad thing to happen, "Promise me... When I'm gone... Protect, Alison... Make her happy" Ivan says and forces a smile. "I promise" I answered.

~Ali's POV

Ivan and I stayed In my room, We sat on my bed. I crossed my legs and he leaned on the wall. "Is something bothering you?" he asks, he caught my expression as I looked down, "Oh, nothing" I answer as I looked at him with a smile, I wasn't okay to be honest. Ivan stroked my cheek, "I know somethings bothering you... Please tell me" Ivan pleaded. "Well, it's just that.... I don't wannt to come to that point, seeing many people sacrifice their lives for me..." I answer as I looked at Ivan with dissapointment with myself. He came closer to me, his eyes locked on mine. "Don't be too harsh on yourself... You did nothing wrong... To make you feel okay, they are also fighting for the others... They don't want to live a life knowing that there's someone out there wanting to threaten others..." Ivan answers and smiles, he kisses my forehead and his eyes stares at mine, his violet eyes that captivate me. He holds my face, "Thank you for everything, I thank God for you" I answer. I do thank God for Ivan and for everything, knowing that someone like Ivan exist is just amazingly great. He chuckles, "I thank God that I met you" Ivan answers. I smile, out of all the crazy things that happened, without Ivan I wouldn't know what to do. "You should sleep... It's getting late" He answers. He gets up, but I pull his hand. "Don't sleep on the couch or the other bed... Stay with me" I answer. He widely smiles, and gets back on the bed.

And I slept in his arms softly.
