[twelve] 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒

gilbert has been back for about two weeks now. anne still ignored him, even after the many times ruby and diana told her not to.

and gilbert trying to talk to her doesn't help.
it was saturday morning, and anne decided to take her mind off everything.

she called diana the other day, and they were going to get prom dresses.

she went downstairs, to find jerry's mom cooking.

"hello mrs. baynard!" anne greeted, as she quickly made herself some cereal.

"hi anne. where are you going?" the older woman asked.

"i'm getting a prom dress." she replied, as she took her keys, some money and her phone.

"do you have a date, dear?" she asked the redhead, who nodded her head.

"yes. his name is charlie." anne replied. "bye!" she said before jerry's mother could ask anything else.

she walked outside to find diana, ruby, tillie, jane and josie in diana's car.

"why is josie here?" anne whispered to diana, as she got in the car.

"i couldn't just leave her alone." diana answered.

"sometimes you have such mom vibes." anne said, making diana laugh.

"that dress is so ugly." ruby told diana, who was trying on a green dress, without stripes.

"uh, nothing fits me!" diana said, trying to find more dresses.

anne was sitting on a chair, waiting for jane to come out. she wasn't really in the mood for trying on dresses.

"i think it looks cute." a voice from behind said.
anne turned around to see gilbert, charlie, and some other boys.

"thank you gilbert." diana said.

anne just rolled her eyes at him. suddently, everyone was starring at the redhead.

"what?" she asked.

"uh- nothing." ruby said.

but little did she know what was going to happen on prom night.

"how about this?" jane asked anne. she was wearing a pink dress, with sleeves.

"i hate it. you could do so much better." anne replied. it's been an hour, and none of the girls has found anything.

anne wasn't really worried about finding a good dress. in her opinion, nothing looked good on her, so she didn't really bother.

"anne, come here!" ruby called her.

"coming!" she said, and quickly made her way to the shorter girl,

"i found the most perfect dress for you." ruby said, handing her a gold dress, with sparkles.

"do i have to-"

"yes. now go and try it on."

"fine." anne said, and went into the changing room.

she quickly undressed and put the dress on.

"what do you guys think?" she asked, and all the girls smiled at her.

"it's amazing!" jane said.

"you'd probably be like prom queen or something." diana smiled.

"it is pretty nice." josie said.

"am i dreaming or is josie pye complimenting me?" anne joked.

"shut up." josie laughed.

half an hour later, all the girls found dresses and payed for them.

"who are your prom dates?" ruby asked all of the sudden.

"i decided to go with billy." josie said.

"i go with moody." tillie said.

"i decided to go with this guy, oliver. he's really cute." jane said.

"i go with will. will byers." ruby said.

"who's that?" anne asked the blonde.

"he's new. i talked to him a few times.

"who are you going with?" she asked anne.

"with charlie." anne replied.

"wait, what about gilbert?" jane asked her.

"well, i go with gilbert." diana said.

sksksksks i bet y'all didn't except this.
also can't wait for awae s3 tomorrow!

and i decided that i'll finish this book and then make my hunger games one, so i upload as much as possible.
