Chapter 3

It was later the evening and just about everyone has been saying Maya was helped.
Nobody can do that good without help.
In the end Josh told them to stop with their nonsense.
Riley is surprised that he is suddenly coming up for the fifteen year old.
He has never actually been one to talk to people and now he is standing up for Maya Hart.

"Did something happen between you and Josh?" Riley asked.

Riley and Maya was busy doing their night stuff.
Brushing teeth, combing hair all that.
Maya was busy combing her hair from the ponytail it has been in the entire day.

"What do you mean?" Maya asked avoiding what did happen between her and Josh the previous day.
"You just seem different," Riley said.
"No I don't. Maybe we just bonded a bit," Maya said.
"Can we stay up a bit?" Riley asked.
"Let's go in front then," Maya said and they went out of their room.

"I don't think it was coincidence you nailed the songs," Riley said.
"Leave it."
"Come on. You cheated," Riley said.
"One more time and I'm going crazy," Josh said.
"Okay give me a word to sing a song to," Maya said.
"Original, huh?" Farkle said.
"Okay I'll give her a word. Too Young," Josh said and both Maya and Riley looked at each other.
"Oh no. You did not," Riley said.
"What?" Josh asked.

Maya took a deel breathe and opened her mouth rememberingthe lyrics.

"You have to be kidding me," Josh said and Maya smiled.
"Okay. That is not real," Josh said and Maya looked at Riley.
"Can I?"
"Go for it. Maybe he'll realize what is actually happening of he hears it," Riley said and Maya grabbed the guitar standing at the door.

Josh still couldn't believe anything even if it did happen and the girl who snag it is standing right in front of him.

"You did not write that," Josh said and Maya exhaled.
"I don't think what I feel is fake. Yes I write music based on what I feel and yes. I have feelings for you which isn't just going to disappear. I feel really strong about what I do feel," Maya said.
"How did you come up with the song?" Lucas asked.
"Something Josh always told me," Maya said and Josh grabbed Maya's hand dragging her away from everyone.

They went up to his bedroom and he closed the door.

"Okay," Maya said.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Josh asked.
"What do you... You gave me two words to sing a song about and I did. As easy as that," Maya sakd.
"You couldn't think of another song? Why that..."
"Why did you chose those words? Huh? I did as I was told," Maya said.
"No. You're making an idiot out of both of us," Josh said and Maya looked at him.
"Why don't you go ruin someone else's life? Someone who's a bit more like you," Josh said and realized what he had just said.

Maya looked at Josh not knowing what to do and definitely not knowing what she feels.

"Someone who's a bit more like me? Okay. You got it. I'm done," Maya said.
"Maya," Josh said and then Maya went out of the room.
