It was late the afternoon and Josh stopped in front of his parents house.
Josh had no idea how to handle any of this since ehis mother wasn't very friendly the last time they saw them.
She was very like the enemy to Maya and now she has to hear she is her son's girlfriend.
Not an easy choice to make.
Josh knocks on the door and it opens revealing his mother.
"Maya, Josh come in," Amy said.
"Thank you Mom. Where is Dad?" Josh asked.
"Living room. I'm just making coffee then I'll be right with you guys," Amy said.
Josh and Maya went to the living room seeing Alan reading the paper.
"Hey Dad," Josh said.
"Afternoon Josh. Nice seeing you. Hey Maya. How are you?" Alan asked receiving a hug from Maya.
"I'm good. How are you?" Maya asked.
"Still alive. Obviously. But first tell me why you guys are here," Alan said and Amy sat down with the rest.
"I want to know as well," Amy said.
"Okay. We are actually here for a very special reason. Your son got himself a girlfriend," Josh said.
"You guys are together?" Amy asked and they nod.
"Congrats guys. You better take good care of her," Alan said.
"I'm so tired of hearing that rhyme," Josh said causing Maya to laugh.
