It was the next day and Maya was eating breakfast with the Matthews.
Obviously she had to go back to school with Riley but she wasn't at all as nerves as she was with the Matthews to tell her friends about her and Josh.
She was kinda calmed since she knew if she had the Matthews on her side she is half way through.
But how do you survive something like this?
There is no way.
And now with her mother and Shawn's funeral coming up in less than a week she doesn't entirely know how to deal with any of this.
"We've heard from Jack," Cory said making Maya look up.
"It's okay guys. I'm okay. What did he say? Is he going to make it?" Maya asked.
"Yeah, he is," Cory said.
"That's good. I.. Uh... I have to get going. Riley you done?" Maya asked as she gathered all of her stuff.
"Yeah let's go."
"She is far from over this entire thing. She is going to break down in the end," Cory said.
"We can't control her life Cory. Let's just figure out what to do according to the funeral and so. Josh will take care of her and notice when something isn't right. He always does."
