As the weeks went by and your deal was kept, things began to return to normal... almost. Levi had been quiet and seemed to try and earn your trust while also doting on his daughters a lot, both Kuchel and Bertha loved him but it was clear that you were their number one. As for your squad things were also going smoothly, you had gone outside the walls a lot and had improved greatly, especially Eren and Armin. They could know fight properly thanks to yours and Misaka's hard training, though you had to stop her when she tried to help Eren on some occasions.

- Remind me again why you haven't confessed to him? You asked as you took a bite from your bread, Mikasa and you were eating earlier today and despite your cool and collected personalities, you two were the best of friends.

- It's fine, as long as I can protect Eren, I am happy. She said and you shook your head, you had never fallen in love so you couldn't say you knew what it was like, still you thought that the way she was thinking was stupid.

- Then I suppose if Eren falls for someone, you're to become her bodyguard too? You asked and Mikasa turned to you, suprised at your words.

- Eh?

- Well, since you plan to keep quiet about this whole thing, you will eventually have to defend Eren's potential girlfriend. After all, she'll be really important to him. You said and kept on eating, Mikasa was now looking at her plate, clearly unhappy at the idea.

- I... never thought about it. She said and you sighed.

- Look, I have no idea why someone would do what you do... but I know that since you want something you should chase it, I want the best for my daughters and I'm already on the move. You said and Mikasa fell into deep thoughts again.

- I don't know....

- I think you should do as (Name) says. Annie said as she sat down next to you. Mikasa frowned, she didn't like the idea of hearing Annie of all people but... she only agreed to what you suggested.

- Annie's right. You looked to your left, Christa, Ymir, Sasha and the twins arrived carrying trays with their food, needless to say, Sasha had a mountain of food ready to enter her belly.

- How can you not get fat with all that food? Kuchel asked and Bertha nodded.

- My tummy hurts when I eat a lot. She said and Sasha smiled.

- I don't know... I just love to eat. She replied and the twins laughed. You were suprised to see how many girls were in one table... yourself included.

- Don't look like that, you should have expected this after everything we all went through. Mikasa whispered in your ear with a small smile.

- Believe it or not, when I was a small child, I dreamed of a moment like that. You said in a low tone and Mikasa looked at you, her smile warmer than before.

- It's a dream come true, I suppose. She replied but the cheerfull mood vanished when Levi appeared, he was looking at the twins.

- Daddy! Kuchel said cheerfull and waved her hand, Levi went and sat next to them.

- I wasn't expecting you to be here. You said coldly and he looked at you, his calm expression stuck on his face.

- Well, your uncles wanted to meet me as soon as possible.

- My uncles? You repeated, why on earth did they want to meet Levi?

- Yes, I am the father of Kuchel and Bertha, as well as your fiancee.

- We are not engaged, get that in your head Levi. I would never marry you. You said and his gaze became cold as ice and empty like that of a dead fish.

- Don't be so sure. He said and you looked down at Kuchel and Bertha, thankfully Sasha and Christa had been keeping them busy.

- If you think you can win against me... then humanity's strongest soldier is also humanity's greatest fool. You said as you were finally done eating, you turned to the twins and told them to go ahead and eat, you asked Mikasa to keep an eye on them as both you and Levi left the hall. His steps were echoes of yours but soon enough he caught up with you and pushed you into a corner.

- You won't escape me, I don't care what I have to do but you will return to my hands and our daughters will be with their real family.

- I am their real family! I carried them in my womb for nine months, I am their mother... and I can choose whoever I see fit to be their father.

- I AM THEIR FATHER! He roared and you smirked.

- Whoever said that? I never said you were going to be their father. You said and it was clear his anger was reaching it's limit.

- Don't push it (Name).

- Then don't challenge me. You replied and pushed him away, leaving him and his rage alone. You went to Erwins office where you saw four men standing there, all were similar and you saw a resemblence with your mother in each of them.

- It seems I am lucky. You said sarcastically.

- Are you... (Name)? One of them asked. Your gaze became empty and your expression stoic.

- I am.

- Oh thank heavens we wanted to talk to you for a long time. Another said.

- Over my dead body!!! A horribly familiar voice said, you took a deep breath and looked at the far left corner of the room, your mother was there, on her wheelchair glaring at her brothers with so much hatred, it made the room cold and dark.

- For once I think we might agree on something. You said and everyone seemed surprised.

- What do you mean? One of them asked.

- You actually went ahead and said I'd marry Levi, strongerst soldier of humanity.

- But we heard that-

- I don't want excuses.

- And you said she couldn't be anything like me. Your mother said and you rolled your eyes, this was going to be a major family showdown.
