I wiped my mouth from my next meal. A little sour. But ghiood enough. I looked down at the once great spaceman Xephos. I huffed and flew up into the air, searchng for my next meal. I saw a flash of blonde hair, I had to restrain myself. It must be Duncan.
But as soon as he looked over. I knew it wasn't. It was Lalnable. I looked down at him, the moonlight showing him quite clearly. I jumped down and flashed my fangs. He backed away in surprise.
"Why hell Kim." He chuckled. I glared down at him and knocked him to the ground. "I guess were both feeding tonight~" I grabbed his neck and pinned him to the ground. He pushed my off, catching me surprised. I had to hurry. Daylight was coming soon. Quick and clean.
He showed off his sharp teeth and ran at my, I dodged right in time and bit his neck. He could tell he flinched, but then I felt a pain go through me. I looked down and saw blood coming from my heart.
"Game set match." I hissed in pain, and dropped to the ground. He fell down and looked at me. "So....what became of that man named Duncan?" I sighed and flinched in pain.
"....he's still alive. I had to hold myself from him." I gasp in pain once more as the sunlight hit my foot. Lalnable looked at me, he took his coat and covered me from the sun. "Better?"
I huffed, "thanks..." I murmered. I closed my eyes and slid down the tree. Death coming for me. But not before I felt a small pair of lips on my head.
With that we both died.
