I sigh slightly, hearing Flora and Alice flirting with each other in Alice's room. I bite my lip, walking to my own room and sitting down. Alice always spent time with Flora. She never had enough time to hang out. It was always Flora this and Flora that. I sigh, I hated being jealous of someone who made my sister so happy. But I wanted Alice. My sister.
I felt a few tears slip down my face, "Maybe I should try to find someone.." but that was out as soon as I had said it. Who are you gonna find in the middle of the forest to love? Everyone around you is either family or you don't like them. I could hear the two saying each other's names now. I want someone to love me like that...
I start crying. Hiccupping and wiping my eyes. I bury my face in my pillow, still crying. They stopped shouting each others names...there sleeping now. I get up and peak in, seeing the two all cuddled up and blushing. I wipe my eyes, looking at the two. There so happy...
"I want someone like that..." I whisper, walking downstairs. I look around at everyone around, mom has dad. Endress has Duncan. Lana has Rythian. Star has Matthew. Even Booker has someone now, her names Elizabeth. I'm the only one without someone.
I walk back upstairs, laying down on my bed and sobbing. "Why..." I whisper, I hear my door creak open, I look over, seeing Alice in a long shirt and sweats. I look away, sniffing.
"Hey...you okay sis? I thought I heard you come in." she says, sitting down on the edge of the bed. "N-No I'm fine, just checking on you..." I whisper. "And Flora." I add quickly. Maybe too quick. She frowns, "Alelna...is something wrong?"
I break down, sobbing. "I-Its just...your always spending time with Flora. And I have no one! No one! Everyone in this house has someone to love but me. I'll just go ahead and die alone! Who wants to love the girl who can show your worst nightmare! The girl who makes mistakes! The girl with the curse."
"Alelna...I-I had no idea-"
"Hey Alice? Where did you go love?" she turns around, smiling softly, "Just came to see my sister is all." she smiles, wrapping her tail around Alice's waist. "Come back to bed...!" she says, pulling her away, Alice frowns. Quickly glancing at me. I nod, looking away. She sighs, giving up and going with Flora, leaving me alone again.
"When will I meet my lover?" I whisper, burying my face in my hands.
