AN: RP AU thing. Idea was that Rythian and Duncan had a past relationship and years later.....Duncan and Rythian are married and have a family. But then Rythian gets captured by Magic police and well...story tells itself. Also Lalna in this story is MP!Duncan.

"Where is it...where is it?!" I sighed with frustration then jumped at Duncan's voice. "Where is what?" he asked. I turned around, slightly embarrassed I answered anyways. "I lost...my photo of Blackrock." I said softly. His eyes widen and he nods slowly, sitting down on a rock.
"Why can't you just get over it...?" He whispered. I sighed, why hadn't I? I mean. I guess I had, in a way. But I just couldn't get over the fact that...that...i sighed with frustration again. Suddenly though I was tackled to the ground. I grunted an opened my eyes and saw Lalna towering over me. I squirmed but then he put a fireball by me. I froze.
I looked to Duncan who was now unconscious by Sjin. My eyes widened and I kicked Lalna off me and ran toward him. "Duncan?! Duncan?!" I yelled shaking him. Someone grabs my necklace and it breaks off me. I flinch slightly and suddenly a spell hits me in the back and I'm gone.

When I open my eyes the first thing I see is Sjin and Lalna smirking over me. I feel myself strapped in a chair, Sjin leaves leaving me and Lalna. He leans in close to my face. I simply glare. Then he does something unexpected. He kisses me. I growl and try punching him. He laughs softly.
"Its just us Rythian. Dont make a sound and maybe I'll let you eat tonight." he says slipping his hands under my shirt. Only one thing goes through my mind at this moment.
Duncan wake up and save me.

I opened my eyes, my head spinning. My vision is hazy for a few moments until I focus on Rythian's necklace in front of me. I blink and get up quickly, holding the necklace close to me. "Those damn magic police..." I get up slowly and put the necklace around me before running toward the direction of the Magic Police base.
When I reach it I see Sjin walk into the left tower. I go to the right. I hear noises coming from the door and I slowly open it. Not prepared for what I see.
Lalna is straddling Rythian and kissing him forcefully. I feel a wave of anger go through me and I punch Lalna off him, hearing that satisfying crack! As he hits the cold floor. I turn to Rythian, he looks exhausted and tired and angry.
I walk over to Rythian and untie him from the chair he's tired to. He falls into me and I hold him up, slowly staggering out with him. Luckily we avoid Sjin as he walks into the tower we were just in. We slowly make our way back to camp.

I set him down on my bed, apparently Endress and Lana are out. That seems to happen often, those two walking off without telling me or Rythian anything. I shrug it off and tend to Rythian, helping his wounds and cleaning him up.
After awhile I let him rest and I sit down on the ground, and fall asleep too.

I wake up in a bed. My memories kind of in a blur. I look over and see Duncan sleeping on the floor. I smile slightly and pick him up and place him on bed next to me. I wrap my arms around him and close my eyes.
"I still love you..." I whisper falling asleep. And though I dont hear it I think he says, "Me too."
