"Ali! Ali!" the taller one turned around slightly to see her smaller and oddly enough younger sister tripping on her shoelaces to catch up with her. Alice giggled and helped her sister by taking her hand.
"Alice?"
"Yes Alelna?"
"where are we going?"
"I found something I thought was interesting !" Alice said they reached the area, which was miles away from anything. Yet the small girl had been able to find it. The area was an abandoned castle, but in a tower a small light could be seen. The two exchanged glances and walked in.
"I feel like we shouldn't be here Ali.." Alelna whispered, holding her sisters hand tighter. "Dont worry...we'll look around then leave back to mommy and daddy!" the two smiled and entered the first tower.
The two started to hear whispers from the upstairs level, they quietly walked up the stairs and saw a small girl at a desk writing frantically on a journal. Her hair was long and black, bit the tip had a purple dye it was. Alelna started to walk over to her but Alice quickly pulled her down, earning a creak with the old floor.
The young woman turned around and the two ducked down quickly. Alice saw the woman had a purple eye, and the other black. Alice held her sister close. They didn't dare to breath. They then heard her get up quickly and run up the next set of stairs. They then walked over to her desk and saw crumples of paper with scribbles of drawings and writing.
Alice picked them all up and uncrumpled one. It had a picture of her grandpa Duncan and grandma Endress. The woman had drawn herself hugging Duncan and hearts around them. But grandma was dead.
She uncrumpled another and saw writing. She couldn't read well. But made out the words, "Kill her. Get him. Love him. Mine." but that was it.
She turned to Alelna. "We should leave." Alelna nodded and stuffed one of the pictures in her pocket without Alice seeing and the two ran away. Not noticing the soft glow of purple with rage in her eyes.
