CHILL’S POV – MONDAY, 10:00 A.M.

I was supposed to spend my recess time by calling home to check if mom is okay (and to make sure she hasn’t drowned herself with her wine collection) when one of my classmates Trisha Ricafort approached me.

“Chill, can we talk outside?” she seems a bit annoyed.

I nodded and walked with her outside. I’ve known Trisha since we were kids. We live in the same village and we’re classmates since gradeschool. We even attend the same parties, but despite all that, we’re not that close.

“What’s up?” I asked

“Bakit mo ginawa yun? I know there’s this rivalry going on between you and James pero I still can’t believe you did that. I know we’re not friends pero I’ve known you long enough to know that you’re a gentleman and this is so unlikely of you.”

“Trust me what I did was a stupid mistake. I never wanted to rip that ribbon from her uniform.”

“Then can you atleast apologize to her?”

“Fine.

“No.”

I was about to tell her how annoying her bestfriend this morning when G saw us and decided to interfere. And as usual, halos sumabit siya braso ko. This is one thing that I don’t like about Gretel, she’s too needy and clingy.

She slightly pushed Trisha “Ugh. Do you mind, Trisha? I need to talk to him.”

“God, Gretel, walang umaagaw sa boyfriend mo. You can have him all you want.”  Trisha rolled her eyes.

“T, I’m not his boyf–” I was gonna explain to Trisha that Gretel’s not my girl pero ang bilis niyang magsalita, hindi ako makasingit.

She demanded.

I nodded then she walked away.

“Chill, you have to see the dress I’m going to wear for our graduation ball.” G excitedly said while showing me a photo of her in her phone wearing a dress that exactly looks like the one in Frozen”

“Does that dress comes with a free snowman?” I joked.

MY. EFFIN GOD. Where did you get this dress, sa BitchStoleMyLook.com.ph?”

“Ugh! Rude much?” Inagaw ni G pabalik yung phone niya “What are you talking about?” she confusedly and irately asked.

Dinuro-duro ni Trisha yung screen ng phone ni Gretel “This is what I’m exactly gonna wear for our grad ball so you better find another dress. Or better yet, you should dress as Olaf. Hindi pa nakuntento sa panlalait si Trisha, she even sang a morbid version of ‘Do You Want To Build a Snowman’: “Do you want to kill a snowman?”

I seriously wanted to laugh pero I don’t want G to think that I’m choosing sides so I just left and let them argue and claw each other’s eyes out.

10:15 A.M.

It wasn’t just the normal kind of laughs, it was the flirty, giggling kind of laughter.

I don’t know if I’m gonna cheer for Pacheco for having the balls to do this kind of stuff at school or ma-eskandalo sa kalaswaan nilang dalawa dahil talagang nakasubsob pa yung mukha ni Pacheco sa boobs ni Jamie.

Nung nahuli ako ni Jamie na pinapanood ko sila at nagkatinginan pa kami eye to eye, I literally felt the blood rush to my face.

“Sorry for interrupting…” mabilis kong sinabi at nagmadali akong umalis.

“Hindi ka ba man lang magso-sorry sa ginawa mo sa uniform ko?” she cockily demanded.

“Anong nangyayari dito?

“Why would I be sorry when you clearly doesn’t need this ribbon?” I said then my stupid eyes went directly to her boobs. Damn it.

Grabe saang lupalop ba lumaki ‘to at sobrang warfreak?

Dumating bigla si Trisha “Guys, what’s happening here?”

Natahimik kaming tatlo.

“Yeah, that was the plan… until I saw…” I was contemplating kung isusumbong ko kay Trisha yung kalaswaan nina Pacheco at Jamie nang napalingon ako sa terrace. Umuulan ng mga bond paper!

“You saw what?” annoyed na tanong ni Trisha.

Did someone found out about my father and now they’re using it against me?
