"Keira, will you marry me?"
I already knew the question was coming, yet I still felt surprised. I guess it's from hearing him actually say it, I don't really know, but it made a warm feeling spread throughout my whole body. And I liked it.
"Yes. Of course I will, you idiot,"
I reply, my smile growing a bit. Kakashi lets my hands go momentarily, he pulls his mask down and leans in to press his lips to mine in a kiss. We pulled apart after a moment, and he says,
"I'll talk with Lady Tsunade about arranging something small."
He uses his left hand to reach into his pocket, and digs out two silver bands. Kakashi sets one in the palm of my right hand and he takes my other hand in his. He slides the ring onto my finger, I held his hand and slid the other ring onto his finger. I raised my hand up to look at the ring, despite just being a silver ring, I really liked it.
"It...it's amazing,"
I say quietly, Kakashi places his hand over my rounded belly gently while replying,
"I'm glad you like it. Now, you need to go lie down, this doesn't change the fact that you need to be resting."
I pout at his sudden change in attitude, he hasn't been letting me do much lately. Especially not since I fell a couple of days ago trying to reach something on a high shelf. After he helped me up and made sure I was okay, he did the next predictable thing; he scolded me. He kept saying stuff about me not having to do things around here as much, and something about not reaching for things I know I won't be able to get easily.
"Come on, you know how much I hate sitting still," I say in a begging tone,
"Can't we do something fun before you make me a prisoner in our own home?"
Kakashi sighs quietly, despite the very slight smile on his lips. He pats my stomach softly and replies,
"Tell you what, we'll go out for dinner tonight, and maybe even stay out a bit longer for a walk. Is that okay with you two?"

Kakashi and I had gone out to a small dango shop near our apartment, it wasn't much, but it was cozy. Right now, however, we were walking side by side through the village; just taking a nice walk and occasionally saying hello to people we knew.
It was really peaceful actually, something we haven't known for a while. There was no one trying to attack the village, no one trying to come after Naruto, and nothing that could hurt our soon to be family. I was genuinely happy, happier than I had been in such a long time.

"Have you been thinking of names?" I question as Kakashi settles into bed at my side,
"We should at least come up with a few before the baby comes, that way we'll be prepared. Or we could even name them once Amaya tells us if it's a boy or a girl."
Kakashi pulls the blanket up some over my stomach and replies,
"I'll leave the names up to you, if you don't mind. Once you come up with some you really like, I'll help you decide then."
"Come on, I want you to have an opinion on what we name our kid. They will have to live with it their whole life, ya know. I want it to be something they can be proud to be called, something they won't dislike."
Kakashi sighs quietly and replies,
"Alright, alright. I'll think about it, it's time for bed right now, however."
