That's Just Embarrassing

I groan as bright light hits my face, what time is it? I rubbed my eyes as I sit up, it must be early in the morning to be that bright out. Lowering my hands, I looked around, the light was streaming through the window, and Kakashi was sitting next to me adjusting his headband so it covered his left eye.

"Come on, you'd better get a move on or we'll be late again," he says while reaching over to pull the blanket off my lap.

I suddenly remembered what happened the night previously, my cheeks felt warm as I ask,

"Before we go, I just have to ask, what happened last night?"

I remember him holding me down and my shirt being taken off, but that's it. Kakashi laughs quietly, then replies,

"I was just taking your shirt off when you fell asleep. Don't worry, I put it back on, then tucked you in. Honestly, I've never seen you do something as cute as that."

"I...fell asleep? And we were gonna..."

Oh god, I just want to curl up in a corner and die. This is the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me! How the hell did I fall asleep?

"Come on Sasuke, is that all you've got? Don't hold back,"

I say as the raven haired boy gets up from the ground. We were sparring, Sasuke was showing improvement, he's gotten better since the last time. But it still seems like he's reluctant about using his jutsu, I'm not entirely sure on why yet.

"Tch, of course not. Who do you think I am? That idiot over there?"

The Uchiha sticks his thumb out towards Naruto, the blonde was hanging from a rope in a tree, upside down. It was an obvious trap, but he always managed to get stuck in it.

"No, but I know you can do better. I want you to use some jutsu, show me your fire style,"

I reply while shifting my stance to a defensive one. A smug smirk spreads across the Uchihas' lips as he forms hand signs quickly, then shouts,

"Fire style: fire ball jutsu!"

He let out a large breath of fire, I'm impressed actually, that should take a bit of chakra for someone at his level. Oddly enough, it reminded me of Obito. He used the same jutsu, guess it's an Uchiha thing.

I jumped to my right, and before both my feet hit the ground, Sasuke was right in front of me and pulling his leg back for the next attack.

Looks like he's moving to taijutsu, good. I put my arms up to block him as he swings his leg at me. He jumps back, I regain my composure in that moment and say,

"Good combo Sasuke, you almost had me there. Once you use your ninjutsu, make sure you're quicker in the follow up attack."

He nods in understanding, then we hear Kakashi call over,

"Time for a break you two!"

As Sasuke and I head over to where the others are, I pat his head and say,

"You're showing improvement, squirt. Pretty soon you'll be even stronger than me."

He scoffs at the nickname I have for him, but there's a smirk on his face regardless.

I stretch my arms above my head as I enter our bedroom, training left my muscles a bit stiff. I pulled off my headband and set it on the ledge under the window, then I sat on the bed.

I'm really proud of our Genin, they might not work together too well, but I can tell they're still great friends with one another. It reminds me of back when I was still a Genin actually.
