Guilty Pleasures

There hasn't been very much going on lately, we were just returning from a mission though. We were sent out to catch some lady's cat, it reminded me of when Kakashi and I were younger. We were sent on a similar mission, Obito and I had found the cat first. It ended up scratching the Uchiha all over, and I helped him get all patched up.

I miss him, I really do. Ever since the day we lost him, nothing has really felt the same. It always seems like something is missing now, something...important.

But, I always shake that feeling off. Anyway, I was walking next to Kakashi with our Genin trailing behind us. Sakura was holding the cat, while still swooning over Sasuke. The raven haired boy, however, was paying her no mind. He had his hands stuffed in his pockets, and was staring at the ground as he walked. And Naruto...well, Naruto had a grumpy expression and scratches on his face.

The cat scratched his face all over when he caught it. I felt bad for him, it looks like the scratches still hurt. But he'll be fine, he'll be treated for once we return the cat.

"Why don't you head back to the apartment for now?" Kakashi suggests as we near the Hokage's building.

"Hmm? Why?" I ask while looking at him.

"The Genin can return the cat on their own, and I can report in without you,"

He replies quietly,

"Plus, I want to talk with Lord Hokage for a bit."

"Alright, alright. I'll go home," I sigh in defeat.

We reached the building soon after, I turned to the Genin, and I pat Naruto's head lightly,

"I'll see you guys tomorrow. Make sure you take care of that cat, and your...scratches."

I yawn as I curl up more next to Kakashi, he returned to our apartment about two hours after I did. When he got back, I was already in bed, and falling asleep.

But now that he was back, I just wasn't very tired anymore. I rolled over to see him slouched back and reading a book. It was actually a regular thing now with him, he'd be reading while I slept.

I didn't mind, there wasn't any harm in it. I have been wondering about something else though, it's been on my mind for quite a while.

Will Kakashi and I ever take our relationship further?

I mean, it would be nice, but I'm also really scared just thinking about it. There are times where I want more than just kisses from him. But I'm not going to tell him that, I feel embarrassed just thinking about it.

Kakashi catches me staring at him and asks,

"Do you need something?"

"Ehhh? Uhhh...."

I didn't know what to say, so I simply shake my head. He goes back to reading, I close my eyes and let out another yawn.

It wasn't as if I was tired, I wasn't. I just didn't want to keep thinking about going farther with Kakashi.

The room was filled with steam as the water reached a higher temperature. I peeled off my clothing and stepped into the hot shower, pulling the curtain closed behind myself.

The water felt amazing as it streamed over my head. I let my head hang down, the water washed away any dirt I had on me. I don't like being dirty, I don't even like it when I can't shower at least two times a day. I usually showered when I wake up in the morning, and at the end of the day when we're done training with the genin.
