I looked up from my book as someone enters my room, I haven't been able to move for a couple of days because I was in too much pain. Normally, I'd be up on crutches, but I just couldn't bring myself to get up. So I've taken to reading the books Tsunami let me borrow, she's been taking really good care of me, even though I kept insisting she doesn't need to.

A couple of days ago, Kakashi and the others went with Tazuna to the bridge. He told me about what happened, and I felt bad I couldn't help them. Zabuza and the tracker from before, who I was told was named Haku, had come to kill Tazuna. While Kakashi was fighting Zabuza, Sakura protected Tazuna, and Sasuke and Naruto fought with Haku. But they almost lost, which got me worried. I don't want them getting hurt, I also heard that the Ninetails had almost taken over Naruto. It was because Sasuke got hurt protecting him, and I guess Naruto just lost it. They ended up defeating the two assassins, even Gatoh and his men. But Zabuza and Haku died at the end of their fight.

The person who had come into my room was Kakashi, he had his hands stuffed in his pockets as he walks over to me.

"Hey," I started off quietly,

"It seems like somethings bothering you. What's up?"

He sits down next to me while heaving a sigh, he looks over at me while replying,

"Well, I've been thinking about what happened to you. I want to know if you remember anything else that happened when you went outside. Can you?"

I shake my head and set my book on my lap,

"Nothing. Other than what I told you, I can't remember a thing. No matter how hard I try."

Kakashi places one of his hands on top of mine and says quietly,

"Naruto and Sasuke were the ones that found you that night, they were out training, and they brought you back here. When they found you, you were...different. Your leg got broken because Okuri had changed it, your body was transforming into his form. But for some reason, you didn't change all the way."

He pauses, and squeezed my hand tightly in his. When he spoke again, it seemed like it was difficult for him to say,

"Keira...you actually scared them with how you looked. They found you covered in blood and dirt. I don't know where the blood came from, but not all of it was yours. It came from somewhere else."

My stomach started to feel uneasy, I had blood on me? I definitely don't remember that, I ask,

"I didn't hurt anyone, did I?"

Kakashi shakes his head this time,

"Not that we've heard of, no. For now, I'm just going to assume the blood came from an animal. We're going to start heading back to the village tomorrow, our mission here is complete. I know you're still in pain, but we've got to head back."

I could only stare at my now shaking hands, I'm glad I hadn't hurt anyone, but I still feel terrified at the fact that I could have. Kakashi brings my hand up and kisses my knuckles with masked lips, he lowers my hand slightly and says,

"Don't worry, nothing like that will happen again. I promise you."

I shift uncomfortably on Kakashi's back as he carries me, we had left Tazuna's home yesterday. And since I still couldn't walk on my own, even with crutches, Kakashi decided it would be best to carry me. I told him no multiple times, but he didn't give me a choice. There was also the fact that he was still kind of worn out from his fight with Zabuza, yet he insisted he was fine by now.

He had his hands on the backs of my thighs to hold me up, and I had my arms around his neck, he was being careful so as to not move my right leg too much. It reminded me of back when Minato carried me like this, but I didn't get to think about that for long because Naruto looks up at me with wide blue eyes and asks,
