It was a few days after Jimin's meltdown and the house was back to normal.
Jimin had apologised to Yoongi hyung for scaring him and offered to raincheck the body shot teasingly, which earned him several threats from our second oldest. Witnessing Jimin's brightness also put the other members at ease again.
All in all everything was good. However they were all in shock when they found out about what Jimin's family had done to him. But when they noticed how relaxed he seemed now in comparison from that night when he freaked out, they figured that Jimin and I had a good heart to heart and that everything had been sorted.
Which it had. Jimin was back to his usual bisexual glory and was still a nasty pervert. So it was easy to say that I wasn't worried about Jimin being stuck on what his family had done to him just days before.
The day after Jimin's meltdown I called his mother right away and told her about what happened, leaving our drunken body shot experience out of the story of course. And to say she was furious would be an understatement. His mother explained that she had spoken to her family weeks before and even threatened some of them to leave Jimin alone when they found out about him being Bi. But she promised that now that she knew they hadn't listened her and Jimin's father would raise hell upon their family for hurting their precious son.
And I couldn't have been happier about that.
It eased my heart as I watched Jimin laughing his heart out, while we were all seated at the breakfast table on one of our rare free days, enjoying some much needed family time.
"God Hoseok-ah, Just shut up already." Jin hyung face palmed and grunted out in annoyance at our dance leader whom had just shared a new fact with us, which he had so enthusiastically learned during the all nighter he had managed to pull and somehow reached the darkest point of the internet.
All of us were in tears of laughter as Jin hyung and Hoseok hyung were arguing at this hour in the early morning.
"It's true though hyung, human birth control pills do really work on gorillas!" Hobi hyung said with a tone that said he had just discovered a fact essential for the human race to survive on earth, according to his sleep deprived mind.
Jin hyung groaned out again. "Actually I take what is said back, Just keep talking and maybe one day you'll actually say something intelligent." He muttered, sipping on his coffee.
"Now that's just rude," Hoseok hyung glared at our oldest brother.
Jin hyung simply rolled his eyes at him, not bothering to continue on with the topic.
"Anyway, when was the charity ball again?" He looked over to Namjoon hyung.
"It's in two days. We will be driving there with our crew tomorrow evening at the latest to ensure that we'll all have a full night's rest before the actual event." Our leader explained to us.
Suga hyung nodded, "Alright. But what will we be doing there exactly? I'm guessing it's not going to be a bidding event, since we've already donated money beforehand. So is it just a mingle party for Idols basically?" He asked, unsure.
Namjoon hyung hummed in response, "Yeah, basically. It's an event to celebrate all the donations and an excuse to get all Idols together in one place I guess. It will be fun tho. There will be drinks and food and we will all see our friends again." He smiled.
"It sounds like a decent event. But you guys," we turned our heads towards Suga hyung and waited for him to continue.
"I want you all to control your drinking that night. Due to everything that has happened this year from the cheating scandal, Jungkook being hospitalised, our almost disbandment to the recent club fight in Malta, all the reporters will be keeping a close eye on us. So, I want you guys to think about how much you drink and what you do during that night. Have fun, but be careful. Arraseoyo?" Suga hyung looked at all of us, making sure we understood that it was important for us to be careful during events like this.
