Chapter Twenty-Two: consequences

Clocks POV

All we could hear downstairs were the yells of slender and we were all pretty scared by it, even though it wasn't even any of us that were getting yelled at. I looked down at the floor and tapped my foot in many different ways, Sally played with Y/Ns hair as she sat down crisscrossing her legs in front of the small female, the three proxies stared all around the room except each other. I took notice and didn't say much of it. Slender was still yelling before Jeff lost it on him, you could hear the anger and pain in Jeff's deep voice as he snapped back which he knew was a big mistake he'd regret but he needed to get his point out there. Slender was really hard the males in the mansion and expected more responsibility from them, but with us females, he was soft and generous. He was mainly really hard on the three proxies and Jeff, no one knew why Jeff was treated just as harshly as the proxies when they were punished, but he was. Everyone flinched at the sound of a loud thudding and a loud low groan escape Jeff's lips. We decided to be nosey and go see what was happening, we all crept downstairs and watched, Jeff was untied from the chair but was lying on his stomach and was bleeding, his raven colored hair covering his eyes as he seemed out of breath, he stood up and had his knife in hand as slender grabbed it with one of his tendrils and held it up to Jeff's neck, his own weapon being used against him as he grabbed onto slenders tendril, getting the knife successfully and cutting off half of the tendril as slender screeched, sending a ringing to all of our ears, having it sting badly. Jeff shoved his knife into his hoodie, black blood staining the white cloth as he looked up at slender "are you done?.." he said in a low raspy voice as he was coming towards the stairs, causing all of us to panic and shove each other out of the way. Once he made it to the top of the staircase, all of us looked at him bleeding body as he stared back, Masky going to help him freshen up and cover up any of his wounds in the bathroom. After what seemed like two good hours, the two males came back, Masky came in with blood all over his yellow jacket as he took it off, leaving him in a white under shirt, Jeff's hoodie being washed which left him in his black under shirt, revealing how brawny they both were from all the training slender put them through. The only fresh blood still to be seen on Jeff's face was that terrifying smile he carved in as it dripped down his jawline to his neck, and for once, he didn't seem to care. "You know, you should really get that checked out" Sally spoke softly, cause everyone in the room to look at her as she walked up to jeff who was sitting down on the floor, bringing up her teddy bear and pressed it against Jeff's pale and leathery skin until she got to his actual gash, she pressed the bear against it, causing him to instantly flinch and quickly move away from it. Sally apologized immediately and managed to soak up the rest of the blood with her small bear, avoiding the area where the blood was actually coming from. Afterwards, Sally sat next to the teenager as she put her bear on Tobys lap, just to disgust him as he yelped and pleaded to get it off as he thrashed around, making all of us laugh or snicker. Jeff cracked and actual smile of happiness since we've got here which made me smile even more. "Get this off of me, I don't want to get STDs or something!-" Jeff gave the young proxy a look "calm down I'm not that reckless" he claimed which caused us to laugh "I'm surprised you haven't caught anything yet." Ben said as Jeff laughed "please, I couldn't catch anything like that even if I tried." The two perverts jokes around some more about the situation as the rest of us laughed, we hadn't had a moment like this is ages. It was when Ej was still up and alive, before Y/N was even around, wed always end up joking around with each other as the rest of us just listened and enjoyed it, it caused us all to smile and laugh like old times.

Y/Ns POV

This scenery was new to me, seeing them all get along and all laughing together, it was truly something I enjoyed, I watch clock laughing as I smiled and gently placed my hand on hers, causing her to look and smile, the cuts in her mouth opening up as she kissed my hand. I smiled widely as I looked at the floor, I felt Sally's small hand grab my other free one as her king brown hair fell in her face as she smiled and giggled. We all looked around at each other smiling, as we did so, we had smiles planted across all of our faces. I took in a lot of their features and noticed how clocks cuts opened up whenever she smiled, every time sally giggled her hair fell in front of her face, Ben had more blood spew out of his eyes when he was happy, Jeff's cut smile opened and grew larger the bigger he smiled, and etc. "why haven't we had a moment like this back at the mansion? Why here?" Ben broke the silence as I agreed "yeah, I don't think we've really had a moment like this since I've been here" I added on as everyone looked at each other "we haven't had one of these since Ej died actually.." Clock said as she dropped her head low, causing me to squeeze her hand softly "yeah..it's been a while" Jeff claimed as he ran his fingers through his soft, fluffy black hair, Ben staring at him as he did so in awe. I have a weak smile as I looked at Toby "how long?" "Way before you got here" he claimed. "What?? You guys literally haven't been happy like this for that long??" "I don't know, we just all stopped hanging out as a group and hung out with our own people" Jeff said as he stared at the wooden floor, carving something into it with his knife, Sally going over to play with his hair as he let her This time. "That's insane. What made you guys stop?" "Y/N, we just, stopped. There's not really an explanation for it, we just did" Toby said as I nodded slowly. I was honestly kinda hurt to hear that as I laced my fingers with clockys and looked at the floor. We all shared rooms with someone and I was forced to share a room with Clock, Jane, and Jeff. Jeff and Jane were really off and on at times and this time, they were on. We all went to our rooms and found Jane and Lazi playing a dress up game as me and Jeff smiled widely and took pictures. Jane quickly stood up and flared as Lazi laughed and went to her room and Jane changed into some comfortable clothes. "Dressing up like princesses now are we?" Jeff teased as Jane growled in response and turned to face the tall male "cmon give me a break, she's still a kid. Plus, I know we all want to feel like that again." Me and Clock nodded as Jeff disagreed. "I don't wish to be apart of any situation of my childhood." "Cmon Jeffery, admit it. We all know you miss your brother." Jane said and Clock agreed "yeah! From yours and Slenders stories and pictures, you guys seemed so close!" Clock claimed and Jane pulled out her phone and showed us all a picture of them two before everything changed. "Don't you ever want that back?" Jane asked as Jeff made faces, not able to get his mind through those thoughts of him having a brother again as he didn't respond. "Just say it, you miss Liu" Clock said as the teenager growled and turned around and toyed with his knife. "Fine..I do but that was all a long time ago that it doesn't even matter anymore. I wasn't the same back then." Jeff managed to say through pain. "I mean, I know I miss my parents.." Jane said softly, showing us a picture of her family before as she was teary eyed. Jeff didn't say anything. He kept quiet as clock chipped in "I miss my mom. She was the only one who took care of me." "Liu was truly something" Jeff finally spoke "he was, a great brother to me and I could never repay him for all he did for me but, that's all gone." Jeff quickly pushed aside the conversation and yawned softly. Causing the rest of us to yawn. That conversation ended just like that as we all climbed into bed. We all four had separate beds but never used two of them since most of the pastas were uncomfortable or scared sleeping alone in a new place they hardly knew. Me and Clock shared a bed and shockingly, so did Jeffery and Jane. We all went on our phones a bit, looking at each other. After a while I felt Clock poke me, i looked at her as she pointed at the other two, I looked over, seeing Jane wrapped up in Jeff's arms while caressing the teenage boys' jawline as he drifted off to sleep in an instant. I smiled and snapped a couple of pictures of them and sending them to some of the pastas. Clock had told me their relationship was complicated and some days, they hated each other, other days, they seemed like the cutest couple you'll see, and other days, they'll be all over each other. Either way, they still loved each other. It hurt to be honest but I couldn't stop that. I turned over to clock though and nuzzled into her chest, letting out a deep sigh and soon felt myself drifting off, hearing her phone turn off and her arms go around me, i melted to the touch and fell asleep..at least, that's what I wished and imagined in my head...
