"I'm so happy it's finally Friday afternoon once again," I say into my suit communicator.
"Me too!" Layla agrees.
I flip onto the roof of a building that has become almost like a second home these past few weeks, "I'm back at the alley."
"So... what's the plan this time?"
"To observe the meeting once again and possibly try to follow mystery man once more," I explain.
"Won't he be expecting you though?"
"Probably, so I'll just have to follow even slower and make sure not to go on the pavement at all."
"Sounds like a good plan to me!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I sigh, lying down on the roof, "Um... Layla? What time is it?"
"It's 4:37."
"Oh."
"Hopefully they are just running late?"
"Yeah..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I groan, sitting up on the cement roof, "What time is it now?!"
"5:15..."
I shiver slightly at the evening wind, "I don't think they are coming..."
"Do you think Friday was just a random extra day they decided to do last week?"
"Maybe... I'm thinking they decided to move locations after my encounter with mystery man," I say, disappointed.
"No... How will we find out their new location?" Layla sighs.
"I don't know... I guess we will just have to keep an eye out for any news..."
"Okay... See you later, Crystal."
"Bye."
