Hux walked down the halls to the training area looking for the new Supreme Leader.
Kylo was training with his lightsaber, deflecting blasts that were being fired by a training droid.
"Supreme Leader," Hux interrupted.
"Yes, Hux?" Kylo asked.
"We haven't found a new base yet, any ideas?" Hux asked.
"We could set up a base here... though it seems like a death trap." Kylo thought for a moment. "My parents spoke of an old Empire base on Endor, perhaps we could put it to use."
"Hmm not the worst idea," Hux thought aloud.
"Prepare everyone to go to Endor," Kylo said.
"As you wish Supreme Leader," Hux answered turning on his heels.
Later...
The First Order arrived on Endor.
"Well, it's old that much is for sure," Hux said looking at the old base.
Kylo nodded. "Do you think it can be fixed up?"
Hux looked at the base and snarled. "Well, I guess that depends on the condition of the inside."
Kylo nodded, then he opened the door of the base.
Hux walked inside examining the room he went over to a control panel, "now this is ancient," he said in disgust.
Kylo nodded. "It's almost as old as you."
Hux looked at him sharply "Ah well.....ah" he juggled his words.
Kylo smirked, but tried to keep himself from smiling fully.
"And.....and how exactly do you know how old I am?" Hux snarled.
"I don't it was just a joke, but since you didn't deny it I assume it must be true," Kylo replied.
Hux fumed, then his his anger melted "wait, you're making jokes now?" he asked puzzled.
"Well, now that Snoke isn't hear to..." Kylo fell silent. It wasn't something he was comfortable talking about at all, least of all to Hux.
"To what?" Hux pressed.
Kylo turned away from him. "To torture me, to fill my mind with darkness, just as he has my whole life," he said in a low voice.
Hux was silent for a moment then moved to the control panel they had been looking at "Well let's see if the thing works" he said.
Kylo nodded, grateful that he didn't continue to press the subject.
Hux pushed a couple of buttons and all the lights came on.
"It works," said Kylo. "That's a start."
"Yes, a start to a bad joke" Hux said still pushing buttons.
Kylo looked at him puzzled.
"You need more practice" he said not looking up.
Kylo smirked. "Oh.... that," he said.
"Yes THAT what did you think I meant?" Hux fumed
Kylo shrugged.
Hux tried not to pay him any attention as he pushed another button and a small box started coming out of the computer.
"What's that?" Kylo asked.
Before Hux could reply it opened spraying both of them with dust Hux turned around completely covered in and coughed "it's *cough* where you *cough* put data files" he said.
Kylo nodded, dusting himself off.
"Supreme Leader, General Hux" a commander walked in his eyes grew wide and he tried to told back his laughter.
Kylo looked at himself and Hux, they were both covered in dust. This had to be one of the most embarrassing things that had ever happened to him in the First Order. "Yes?" he asked, trying to ignore the fact that the commander was inwardly laughing at them.
"We were wondering if we should start unloading the supplies" he said pausing several times and taking a big breath trying to stop the laughter.
"Yes," Kylo replied simply.
The commander left laughing Hux's face was covered in dust and a big blush "that was embarrassing" Hux said trying to dust himself off.
Kylo nodded, taking off his gloves and using them to dust himself off. "You can say that again," he answered.
"All right that was REALLY embarrassing" Hux said doing the same.
"Oh no I just thought about something, I should have ordered that commander not to speak of this to anyone, now he'll probably tell everyone about this." Kylo said.
Hux turned to look at him, horror on his face then he abruptly stood up running after the commander.
Good idea. Kylo thought, following him.
Hux grabs the commander by the collar and pins him to the wall.
"You speak of this to no one," said Kylo.
"Yeees supreme duster... I mean leader" the commander shook in fear.
Kylo fumed but tried not to explode with anger. "Good, and don't call me that again," he said, then nodded for Hux to let the commander go.
Hux did and kicked his back side as he ran away then he looked at Kylo and smiled "supreme duster" he laughed.
"Not funny Hux," Kylo replied.
"Hahaha, it kinda is" he said still laughing.
Kylo shook his head. "I think we should have someone clean the place before we continue. I don't know about you, but I don't want to be cover in a cloud of dust again."
"Yes I agree supreme duster" Hux said seriously.
Kylo clenched his fists and shook his head, trying to contain his anger.
"Sorry had to one last time" Hux said dusting the rest of the dust off.
Kylo took a deep breath and nodded. "I guess it was kind of funny," he admitted.
"Darn right" Hux said walking down the halls.
Kylo shook his head and didn't reply.
"I'm going for a walk, I'll be in the forest if you need me," Kylo said after a moment.
"Alright" Hux said.
