Later...

Rey turned to Hux, "so... your Luke's son?" she asked, trying to break the ice.

He nodded "and you're the special girl that Ben and Luke talk so fondly about."

Rey blushed, glancing at Ben. "They do?"

"Yes all the time" Hux smirked.

Rey blushed even more and Ben gave Hux an embarrassed stare.

"So are you two...." Hux trailed off hoping they'd catch on.

Ben blushed. "What?" he asked, trying to seem casual. Now he wished that he hadn't told Hux that he liked Rey.

"Good friends?" Hux smirked.

Rey looked at Ben for a moment, as if she was trying to decide rather or not they were. "Yes," she replied at last.

"Mmh...good to know."

Ben looked between Rey and Hux, beginning to feel awkward.

"So..." Rey began, trying to break the awkward silence. "We found one of the First Order captains at the crash site on Crait. She is recovering in the medical bay of the Millennium Falcon."

"Yes" Hux smiled slightly trying to contain his excitement.

"I'll take you to her," Rey replied.

Hux nodded and followed her to the Millennium Falcon.

Rey led him through the halls to the medical bay, where Phasma was.

When Hux laid eyes on her he almost melted

Phasma turned to look at him and she smiled softly, remembering her mask was off she quickly replaced at with a emotionless face.

Hux sighed, his heart dropping that she wasn't more happy to see him, but he walked in and greeted her all the same "captain."

"General," Phasma reposed plainly.

Ben who had followed them, watched hopefully from the shadows.

"Uh it's good to have you back" Hux says shyly

Phasma nods

Hux begins to feel awkward and looks to Ben .

Ben nodded encouragingly, then gestured towards Phasma.

"Do you need help getting to the First Order medical bay?" Hux asks

Phasma nods then tries to stand before Hux picked her up (bridal style) and carried a blushing Phasma out of the Millennium Falcon.

Ben and Rey smiled as they watched them leave.

Then Ben turned to look at Rey. "There's something I have to tell you..." he began shyly.

Rey looked up at him. "Yes?" she whispered.

Ben reached down and gently took her hand. "I... I love you," he said in an almost inaudible voice, but she could heard him and surprise flashed across her eyes. But it was quickly replaced by a look of affection.

"I love you too, Ben," she whispered. Then she reached up to gently caress his cheek, before she kissed his lips softly.

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer as he returned the kiss.

They broke their kiss and she smiled at him. He looked at her blushing, then he smiled shyly. She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug.

Ben hugged her in return, holding her close until she finally pulled away.

"We should get back, before they think that you've kidnapped me again." She smiled as she said the last words.

Ben looked at her in surprise, not knowing how to reply.

Finally Rey took his hand and pulled him through the halls of the Millennium Falcon.

As they turned the corner, they ran into Rose. She had stayed in the ship to look after Phasma, and didn't know that the First Order and the Resistance had joined forces. So she was surprised when she saw Kylo Ren aboard the Millennium Falcon. She pulled out her electro-shock probe and pointed it at him.

Ben just looked at her, obviously puzzled.

Rose was about to zap him when she noticed that Rey was holding his hand. "Rey... what's going on?"

"I'll explain later," Rey promised. Then she pulled Ben down the hall, and gestured for Rose to follow.

Rose watched them for a moment, before she moved to follow them.
