Lisette comes to my house and we wait for Erick. We were watching la rosa de Guadalupe. And what would you know? It was about lying. Something was telling me that I had to tell the truth. Lisette changed it. "Um.. well that was *coughs* a coincidence." Lisette said. I curl myself into a ball. "How did I get myself into this?" I say. "Well technically you didn't do anything." I grab the pillow and scream into it. Someone knocks. I get up and answer. "Hola Ojitos." I smile. "Hola princesa." He gives me a kiss. "HOLA PRINCESO!" Lisette yells from the living room. "HOLA LISETTE!" Erick yells as he walks to the living room. He sits next to her and I sit next to him. "So tell me how it went." Lisette says. He leans in to her ear and whispers something. They stay like that for awhile and I just watch. Lisette doesn't make any expression. This worries me. They could probably tell because they smile. "What? You are the one who told me not to tell you anything," Erick says. "Yeah well I changed my mind." I say. "Nope we made a deal." He says giving me a smile. "Come on I'll do anything!" I say. I can't stand not knowing. "Anything?" He says giving me a mischievous smile. I close my eyes halfway. "Not like that." I say. "I dont know what you mean," he says giving me an innocent look. "I'll buy you ice cream." I say. "That isn't enough." He is taking advantage of this. I grab a piece of paper. I write on it Erick's free pass. I give it to him. "Here. Whenever you ask me to do something and I dont want to do it show this to me." He smiles. "Ok. I'll keep this forever." He says laughing. "It will come in handy." Lisette says nudging Erick. "Yes. Yes it will." Erick says wiggling his eyebrows. Oh no. What did I just do. "Ok. Now tell me. What happened?" I say. "Well. We got in our own little band. I was with Aaron, Nickie, Mauricio, y Jose. "So about that ice cream..." Lisette says with a smile on her face. "Ok. Ok. I'll pay for the ice creams." "Yay!" They say at the same time. We go to La Michoacána. "So Erick..." Lisette says. "What do you want?" He says. "So do you know Joel by any chance? Can I go the next time you go? And by any chance go backstage to meet him???" She asks with puppy eyes. "Wow Lisette I am offended." He says putting his hand on his chest. "You're taking advantage of me." He says trying to look hurt. "Not taking advantage but... using my resources!" She comes up with quickly. He closes his eyes halfway. "Fine. I'll see what I can do." "Thanks!" "Can I go too?" I ask. "Of course!" He says.
We go home. When Erick has to leave I walk him to the door. We go outside. We end up by the grass on the front of my house. I hug him tightly around the arms and he grabs my waist. He carries me and spins me around. I laugh and then he does too. He puts me down. Our foreheads are together. Our noses touch. We stay there for awhile studying each others eyes. When I break the silence. "Try really hard for me ok? Always. Even if you dont make it keep on trying. Even if we aren't together one day always sing for me please." "I promise." He whispered. Then he smiled at me. "I'll always do it for you." He kisses me softly. "I'll see you later chiquita." He says. "Ok. Bye Ojitos."
