It was like Mario already knew that I saw it because right in that second he calls me. I don't answer. He keeps on calling so I just turn off my phone. "He is probably going to look for me in my house. Can I stay over today again?" I ask. "Of course but then he will probably look here. We should probably go somewhere else." "True," I say. "Where do you want to go?" "Oh wait I think there is a carnival somewhere near here." "For real you want to go to a carnival right now? You were just sad a couple seconds ago." "I just want to take my mind off of things." "Ok. I think it opens at 11:00." It was 10:30 which was perfect. I went to go change.

When I get finish changing I go to Erick and I hear Erick mumble something. "What?" He realizes that I heard him and quickly says, "No nothing." It turns out the carnival was REALLY close. It was 3 blocks away so we walked. When we were walking he puts his arm around my back. "Do remember the last time we went to the carnival?" "Yea I remember that you left a bruise on my nose because you "were stealing my nose," I say closing my eyes halfway. I put my arms around his neck. And I pretend to steal his nose.

We continue to walk holding hands because that's what we always do. When we get there the first thing I see is a huge teddy bear. "Erick look!" I pull him to where the teddy bear was at. It was a knock the pins down game. Erick took his money out. "No. No wait these games are rigged." "Let me try," he said. "Ok but then if you don't win it then I'll pay for the food." "Okay." He smiled. He gave the money to the guy working there. The guy working there winked at me. And Erick gave him a mean look. The guy gave him the ball. He knocked all the pins down on the first try. My mouth was wide open. "QUE? COMO?" "I'm very good at these things." He says with a big smile. Even the guy working there looks surprised. "I want that big bear," he says. "Alright," the guy said. Erick takes the bear and gives it to me. "Ten chiquita," he gives me one of the smiles that I love. "Gracias,Gracias, Gracias!" I give him a tight hug and kiss him on both cheeks. "I'm going to name him Coco."
"Where do you want to go to now?" He asks. "I'm kinda hungry." "Of course you are. So am I." I am always hungry half of the time. "You find a table and I go find food. I want a cotton candy. What do you want?" I ask him "One that's not food that's candy and two blue cotton candy." "I felt like eating candy ok? I'll pay. You find the closest table." "Fine," he says. I give him the teady bear and I go get the cotton candy.
While I was waiting I was thinking. I felt like a weight of my shoulders. I don't have to be Mario anymore and now I have a chance with Erick. I'm kind of relieved and I know that's bad but I like Erick. I feel bad though because Mario was my first boyfriend and I still liked him during that time we were together. I get the cotton candy and I find Erick. He looks so cute with my teady bear. I can't help but to smile. "Que?" He caught me staring and smiling at him. "No nada." We eat our cotton candy calmly and joking. "Hey would you go to that rollercoaster with me?" He asks. I'm not really big on rollercoasters but I don't mind. "Ok. In the front." "Really? You?" "Yes. Now come on." I grab him by the hand and I take him to the line. It was really long. After 20 minutes it was our turn and we sat in the front right away. We left Coco by the person who is in charge of the ride. Once the ride started I said, "No ya no quiero." "Too late," he smiles. There was a drop and I thought I was going to fall so I grab him by the waist tightly. We are both screaming and by the time the ride ends I'm very dizzy. I almost fall and Erick starts to laugh but he grabs me by the arms so I don't fall. "Its not funny." We get Coco and we go to other rides. It's almost night so we headed to the ferris wheel since it looks nice. He is holding my hand and on my other free hand I'm holding to Coco.
