Backstage

It was Sunday and Erick invited us to the show. We would get to go backstage and he even got is front row tickets. Lisette dressed up really nice, straightened her hair, and put on makeup. She put a sweater around her waist.

"Wow someone's excited." I say laughing.
"Is it too much?" She asks me.
"Naw..." I say.
"Come on tell me the truth!"
"Ok let me just take this off." I took off her makeup. It took awhile. I added a light red color lipstick. And I added mascara.
"There. It's a bit more natural. So you dont act like you are trying too hard." I say.
"Yeah you're right."
I wore something casual.

We would meet Erick there so my mom dropped us off. It was 30 minutes away and the whole time Lisette was talking about how she was going to approach Joel.
"What if I tell him a joke or something? Or what if I-"
"Honey calm down. Look either he notices you and approaches you, Erick will introduce you, or you approach him. Just be yourself. He seems nice so everything will be fine." I say trying to calm her down.
"Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'll be fine." We finally got there.
"Cuídance hijas." My mom says.
"Ok bye mami. Love you." I say
"Gracias Señora." Lisette says.
"De nada hija."

It was the first live show. The first group preformed and they were pretty good. Then Erick's group preformed. And guess who else was in his group? The one and only Joel. When they came out into the stage me and Lisette were freaking out. People would have stared at us but we weren't the only ones screaming like crazy. Erick looked for us in the crowd. When he saw us he smiled. It was Erick, Christopher, Joel, and Sebastian. They sang El Perdon. Their voices complemented each others and they song turned out really good. Joel gave a couple glances to Lisette. She just stared at me in shock. Her mouth was open but she didn't say anything. I laughed. The song ended and the judges gave them feedback. Ricky complimented Erick which I clapped loudly and cheered at. I felt like a proud mom. The other groups sang and I could tell that everyone had talent. Then it was the solos. The first was Richard and then Zabdiel.  Everyone was cheering them on. After it was Erick's turn. He sang La Temperatura. That was one of my favorite songs. It was amazing. I was cheering for him throughout almost the song. When he finished everyone clapped and cheered for him. The other guys sang their solos. Christopher sang after a couple more solos. He has a very good voice. Joel sang last and he sang I see fire. Lisette was gazing at him. Wow I thought, she really likes this guy. I was having a good time. The guys seemed friendly and me and Lisette were singing along with them as they sang. But the time came and it was the eliminations. I was crossing my fingers hoping that Erick would stay.
"Ya votaron y el eliminado es... Joshua Greaux," Alejandra said.
"What?!" I said outloud. Lisette had the same expression on her face as me. He sang really good. I thought he would be one of the last ones to make it. Maybe even be in the band. They showed some of his highlights of him in the show. Then the guys came out and hugged him and said their goodbyes. The show ended and we we went out.

We were going to meet Erick close to the backstage so he could let us go there. Lisette practically ran out of there. I giggled. We were waiting for Erick. There were security guards so we kind of kept some distance. Erick stuck his head out of the door. He said something to the security guards while pointing at us. The guards gave us a sign telling us to come up to them.
"You can enter." Said one of them in a deep voice. I just smiled. He looked really serious. I gave Erick a big hug. "You did it! I'm proud of you Brian." I say grining from ear to ear.
"Thanks Chiquita." He says giving me a warm smile. We looked at each other for a few seconds until Lisette cleared her throat trying to get our attention.
"Oh yea it's you." Erick says laughing. She gives him a hug and says, "Good job. You sang really good." I notice that the guys are staring at us. And Joel was staring and Lisette. I hit Lisette's arm trying to get her attention.
"Wait give me a second. I'm not finished talking to him. Hey Erick where is-" I cut her off. I whisper/yell in her ear, "Joel is looking at you."
"WHAT WHERE?" She yells.
"Shut up stupid." I laugh. She doesn't even argue or try to defend herself.
"Look a little to your left," I say. She immediately looks to the left. Me and Erick laugh. They made eye contact and  they stayed like that for awhile.
"Go on." I say. She doesn't react but then  Joel walks up to us.
"Omg." Lisette mumbles.
"Hello. I'm Joel." He says giving a cute smile. He looked at me but then just stared at Lisette.
"Well I'm Veronica. And this is Lisette." I say smiling. This was funny but cute.
"Yes I'm Lisette. And you are Joel. Oh wait you already know that." She turns 150 shades of red. And looks away. He just laughs. They just gaze into each others eyes. But then he snaps out of it.
"So how do you guys know Erick?" He says acknowledging me and Erick. Erick says, "Veronica is my girlfriend and Lisette is one of my close friends."
"Oh so you guys have the same age?" Joel asks.
"Yep. We all have 14." I say.
"Noice," he says in a funny voice. Christopher approached us. Christopher puts his arm around Erick's neck and says, "Are you going to introduce us bro? It's ok I got it." He takes my hand and kisses it.
"I'm Christopher Velez." He raises his eyebrows up and down. I laughed. When Erick saw that Christopher kissed my hand he took Christopher's hand off of mine.
"Que?? Christopher says innocently.
"She is my girlfriend." Erick says with his eyes halfway closed.
"Ohhhhh. Oops." Christopher laughs.
"Leave the girl alone." I hear someone say.
"I'm Richard." He says.
"Veronica." I say.
"So... who is this pretty girl?" Christopher says talking to Lisette who was talking to Joel.
"I'm Lisette." Joel give Christopher a mean look. Christopher rolls his eyes and says, "Fine." 
"Hey guys we are going bowling you wanna come?" Says a guy with brown hair.
"Oh sorry. I'm Zabdiel." He says giving me smile.
"I'm Veronica and this is Lisette."
"Do you guys want to come bowling with us?" He asks.
"Sure," Lisette says.
"Ok meet us outside on the limo in 5 minutes. I'll see you guys in a bit," Zabdiel says.
"Ok." Erick says.
"Erick I didn't know that you guys had a limo!" I whisper in his ear.
"Oh yeah. I forgot to tell you." He says smiling.

We walk to the limo with Christopher, Richard, Joel, Lisette, and Erick. When we go outside Zabdiel and two other guys are there.
"Hey guys," Zabdiel says.
"This is Veronica and Lisette," Zabdiel says pointing at us. "And this is Yoandri and Johann." They wave at us and smile. We do the same.
"Should we get going?" Says Christopher. Erick enters first and then I go after. I sat next to Erick and Christopher. There were snacks there. I look at Lisette in amazement she looks at me with the same expression.
"I bet you cant fit 10 peices of chocolate in your mouth," Christopher tells me. It was fun sized.
"Watch me. I have a big mouth." I say smiling.
"Really?" He says surprised.
"She once fit 12 pieces of marshmallows in her mouth. And they were the big ones." Erick says.
"Woah. Then this will be easy right?" Christopher says with a daring look on his face.
"Yes. Yes it will." I grab 10 pieces of Hershey's chocolate. Everyone was looking at me. Even Joel and Lisette stopped talking. I start putting them in my mouth. Erick was unwrapping them. After 8 I couldn't really fit anymore.
"Come on you can do it!" Yoandri says.
"Prove Chris wrong!" Johann said laughing. I tried to and I did. I had 10 pieces of chocolate inside my mouth. Everyone clapped. Christopher put his hand to his chest.
"Woah! I'm impressed. I admire you Veronica." I laugh but almost choke because I still had the chocolate in my mouth. He laughs and I try not to because his laugh is contagious.
"How are you going to get it out?" Joel asked. I shrugged. I chewed softly. It took 5 minutes to eat it all.
"I'm never eating chocolate again." I say.
"Let's see." Erick says. He has his arm around my shoulder.
"So how long have you two been with each other?" Richard asks. We start conversating from there. They were really cool and funny. I didn't even notice that we were already at the bowling place.
