"What?", you choked out.

"You're going to be released y/n! Isn't that great?", she replied.

"Yeah I heard that but why now? He could leave me rotting in a cell right here or did he change his mind because he wants to marry me off? If so he can either bring me back in the dungeon or banish me!", you snapped at her but immediately apologized for your behavior.

" No need to apologize y/n, I can understand that you think that way about your father but he doesn't want to marry you off. ", Frigga smiled at you.

" Is Loki coming too? ", you asked worriedly and looked at Loki who's expression grew more sad every second you talked with your mother.

" Unfortunately he's not allowed a sweetheart. ", she said and gave you a sad smile.

You hugged Loki and protested to get up.

" I won't leave him alone! Either he's coming with me or I'm staying here!"

"Y/n don't do this. I know you promised me to never leave me but you are always here with me,in here.", Loki said and pointed at his chest.

You turned your head and saw that the illusion was gone and heavy footsteps approached your cell. You hugged Loki tighter so that he wasn't able to breathe normally when guards opened the door to your cell.

" Princess Y/n. The king has ordered us to release you from the dungeon. You'll need to come with us.", a small and young guard said and looked at you.

"Tell my father I'm not leaving without Loki!", you glared at the guard who took a few steps backwards.

"Darling please don't do this. I will be released soon enough and we can spend a lot of time together, I promise.", Loki whispered into your ear.

"I have my orders, princess. I am extremely sorry but if you resist we need to carry you out here.", the guard stuttered.

You released Loki from your hug and looked at his face. He was crying and so were you.

You gave him a kiss and got up. Before you left the room you turned around to face Loki again" I promised that I would never leave you alone, I never broke that promise. But I guess father will force me to break that promise soon. I will find a way to you even if it's just my illusion, I will be here tonight, understand? ".

He nodded and blew you a kiss, which you caught and blew one back.

You stepped out the cell and were met with a cold breeze. The guard immediately took you with him and brought you into your chambers where your mother and father were waiting.

" Y/n! It's nice to see you again dear.", Frigga stepped forward and embraced you.

"Nice to see you too."

"Y/n, my daughter. I think spending 4 months in the dungeons was enough for a punishment.", Odin spoke up and looked at you.

"Thank you father, but may I ask a question?"

"Of course my child."

"When are you going to release Loki?"

Odin rolled his eyes, "I know he's your brother y/n and you love him dearly but he needs to learn that what he did was wrong!"

"First of all, you exactly know that Loki was never my brother, we only were raised together.

Second I still can prove you that it wasn't his fault in the first place, he was mind controlled. If you don't believe me I can show you.", you held your hand in front of Odin who just stared at it.

" I think you should do it dear. She's always the one who tells you the truth. She is honestly in person. ", Frigga chirped at her husband who flinched.

He took your hand and you showed him all your memories of New York qich included Loki. Obviously you left out the ones where you said you were soul mates and just showing that he saved you twice. You showed him his memories he had and how he was mind controlled by Thanos.

You let go of Odin's hand who was startled at first but soon came back to reality.

"This is the truth, father. It's not his fault and I only did go to New York because I am the only one who can sense if something is wrong with him and can understand him.", you explained and noticed that while you were showing Odin the memories Frigga laid her hand on your shoulder watching your memories too.

She was crying, she saw how her son was in pain and not in his right state of mind but still saved the person he loved the most, you.

"I will rethink my decision, but he will stay at least 3 more months in his cell.", Odin called after he left your chambers.

You jumped on your bed ignoring your mother and screamed in your pillow.

You looked back at her and she was smiling.

"I'm glad Loki saved you.", she proudly exclaimed.

"I'm going to leave you now y/n. Thor might come by in the afternoon so be prepared!", she said while walking out the room.

It was silent, you were used to hear screaming of the other prisoners or hear Loki's breathing next to you.

You breathed in and inhaled Loki's scent off your nightgown. You walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror, gladly your nightgown you had on was covering your neck because the bite mark Loki left was slightly visible.

You grinned like an idiot thinking back on how he fucked you but immediately thought about hiding the mark with your magic.
