"Doctor, actually.", Strange replied and took a sip of his tea.
"Well, no. Not anymore, surely.", the Ancient one said with a slight sarcastic undertone and then added "Isn't that why you're here? You've undergone many procedures.
Seven, right?".
He nodded and took another sip of his tea, "Yeah...". You also took a sip of the tea, it had a wonderful taste (Fav tea if you have one).
"Good tea.", you and Strange said in Union and then looked at each other.
"Did you heal a man named Pangborn? A paralyzed man.", he asked and stared at the ancient one. You remembered that in one of the books it was mentioned that the mystic arts magic can also be used to heal people.
The ancient one nodded, "In a way.".
"You helped him to walk again.", Strange gasped as he took another sip of his tea.
The ancient one nodded.
"How do you correct a complete C7-C8 spinal cord injury?", Strange added.
You looked between them actually not knowing what they are talking about.
"Oh I didn't correct it. He couldn't walk, so I convinced him he could.", she said and walked up to Strange, who mockingly replied "Your not suggesting it was psychosomatic?".
You butted in, "Wait are you talking about those nerves in spines?".
Strange looked at you as if you were the dumbest person in the world but nodded.
"When you Midgard Ian doctors reattach a severed nerve, is it you who heals it back together or the body? Ask yourself that question." you said and looked at him. Just because you are an Asgardian doesn't mean you don't know how Midgardian regeneration works.
" It's the cells", he said and gave you another stare.
You immediately gave him another answer "And the cells are only programmed to put themselves together in very specific ways.".
The ancient one decided to talk again and hush you down. "That's right. - What if I told you that your own body could be convinced to put itself back together in all sorts of ways?".
You walked to the other side of the room and inspected every little thing.
You heard that the ancient one started arguing with Strange and as you turned around the ancient one was pushing Stephen's astral body out of his normal body.
" DID YOU JUST PUSH HIS ASTRAL BODY OUT OF HIM? WHOA!" you exclaimed and ran to the Ancient ones side.
Stephen who catches himself freaked out and thought the tea was drugged.
"To show you just how much you don't know.
Open your eyes.", the Ancient one said to Stephen and touched his forehead. He seemed to dream something so you decided to take a small look and touched his shoulder.
Stephen was flying through space, faced Dormammu. Shoot, you yourself would have freaked out if you would see this for the first time.
After Stephen's little trip ended he fell to the ground and begged the ancient one to teach him.
She rejected him and he got thrown out, poor man.
Hour passed after you decorated your room and settled in. You glanced around your room. A small bag full off underwear next to your bed and a few clothes from Asgard and your green little Teddy Bear laid on your bed.
You now wore an official robe of Kamar Taj, it was basic grey and showed your status as a student.
You decided to see if the man was still in the alley because when you were brought to your room he was still in front of the door and knocking.
You arrived at the front door and heard a small whimper from the outside, yep he was still there.
You decided to open the door and let that man in.
As you opened the door he fell into the room and said Thank you.
Now it would only be a challenge to tell the Ancient one why you let that man in.
