A few weeks passed and you were working in the library.

You decided that you couldn't reach the upper bookshelves and used your magic to lift all books in the air. It looked magnificent as the books flew around your head.

Stephen entered the library to see you waving your hands in the air to move the books.

"Y/n... Aren't you supposed to bring the books in the right order?", he chuckled

"I am bringing them in the right order, yet the shelf is too high for me to reach. Also doing it the normal way would be boring, now wouldn't it?", you answered and waved the last book in its right place.

Stephen looked amazed, "That definitely looked cool y/n.", he said while handing you his books.

"The book of the invisible sun. Astronomia Nova. Codex Imperium. Key of Solomon. You finished all of this?", you arched your eyebrow and looked at him.

He nodded and said "jup" popping the p at the end.

"Come with me.", you said and waved your hands in the air so that all of the books Stephen handed in flew in its place. Stephen followed you in the masters section where you were reading the last books of the ancient one.

"This section is for Masters only. But at Wongs and the ancient ones' discretion, others may use it.", you smiled.

"And what about you? I don't think you can allow yourself or me to be here.", Stephen asked unsure.

You laughed, "Do you really think Wong would leave the library alone if someone wasn't taking care of it then? I am allowed to read here, everything and to use everything. And since I am helping Wong out in the library I say you are allowed to be here. You should start with Maxim's Primer.", you said while taking one of the books out of its chains.

"How is your Sanskrit?", you added.

"I'm fluent in Google Translate.", he sighed.

"Read it. Classical Sanskrit. ", you handed him two books and sat down at the table with one of the ancient ones books, ignoring what he said about this Google translate thing.

Stephen pointed at the books of the ancient one.

"What are those?".

"The Ancient One's private collection.", you said and started to read again.

"So they're forbidden?"

"No knowledge in Kamar-Taj is forbidden. Only certain practices.", said Wong who just came in with a few books in his hand.

"Those books are far too advanced for anyone other than the Sorcerer Supreme."

"And why is she reading one?" Stephen huffed and pointed at you.

You rolled your eyes, closed the book and stopped in front of Stephen.

"Look directly at me Stephen."

You smiled at him and let a few of your illusions appear. Each one of them did the introduction part for mystic arts (The spell the ancient one showed strange first) and used her electric shield to give Stephen a small shock.

"Do you think that the ancient one wouldn't allow her, the goddess of magic to use the books?", Wong laughed and patted you on the shoulder after you finished.

Stephen smiled awkwardly and took one of the books out of its chains and opened it.

"There are pages missing.", he said.

"That's the book of Cagliostro. The study of time. One of the rituals was stolen by a former Master.", you explained.

"A zealot called Kaecilius. Just after he strung up

the former librarian, and relieved him of his head.", Wong added and his face grew dark.

"I'm now the guardian of these books. So if a volume from this collection should be stolen again, I'd know it.", he added.

"And you'd be dead before you ever left the compound because most of the time I'm in here", you said and snatched the book out of Stephen's hands and put it back in its place.

"What if it's just overdue? You know?

Any... late fees I should know about?

Maybe, perhaps, uhm... Uh, you know, people used to think that I was funny.", Stephen muttered under his breath.

"Did they work for you?", you asked yet there was no reply instead Stephen excused himself.

"Alright. Well, it's been lovely talking to you, thank you for the books and for the horrifying story and for the threat upon my life.", he said and walked fast out of the room.

"Was that story actually scary?", you asked Wong with a questioning glance.
