Knowhere

The Benatar flies towards a massive skull and flies through one eye-hole into a vast interior cavern. You now entered Knowhere

"This place looks deserted.", Quill hushed and looked out the window.

" I'm reading movement from the third quadrant.", Drax said. Drax was a nice guy, he told you that he lost his wife and daughter to Thanos and was out on revenge as well. Also he was fun, pretending to be invisible even though he isn't. His little jokes made you feel a little bit better.

" Yep. I'm picking that up, too. Let's put it down right here." Quill replied.

The four Guardians and you disembark and sneak into the Collector's collection room, which is in ruins. Thanos is threatening the Collector while the Guardians hide behind rubble.

" I don't have it.", the collector exclaimed.

" Everyone in the Galaxy knows you'd sell your own brother if you thought it would add the slightest trinket to your pathetic collection.", Thanos hissed.

Quill stops, and holds up a fist meaning 'halt' in the silent language of soldiers. Everybody walks quietly past him except you. Quill turned around and shrugged his shoulders as he saw you but he appreciated that at least you stopped.

" I know you have the Reality Stone, Tivan. Giving it to me will spare you a great deal of suffering." Thanos places a heavy boot on the middle of the Collector's chest and presses.

"I told you. I sold it. Why would I lie?", the collector had a hard time breathing.

"I imagine it's like breathing for you."

" Like suicide."

"So you do understand. Not even you would surrender something so precious.", Thanos said and looked down at the collector.

"I didn't know what it was.", the collector explained, yet Thanos was unimpressed by his lying skills.

"Then you're more of a fool than I took you for. Last chance, charlatan. Where's the Stone?", Thanos' voice grew deeper and more dangerous.

"Today...", Drax began to whisper.

Quill sensed the danger coming off of Drax.

" ...He pays for the deaths of my wife and daughter.", Drax finished and walked towards Thanos while Quill tried to prevent him from doing so. "Drax, waaaaait!", Drax draws his long dagger from his leg scabbard.

"Not yet, not yet, not yet.", Quill begs. Drax gives him a look and heads towards Thanos. Quill hurries as quietly as possible to catch up.

"Drax, Drax, Drax. He doesn't have the Stone yet. We get it, and then we can stop him. We have to get the Stone first.", you whispered and tried to hold him back as well.

"No. No. For Ovette. For Camara. For your Loki." Drax says as he struggles with Quill then when Mantis puts her hand on the back of Drax's head "Sleeeep.", Drax is knocked out, his falling body causing a loud crash. Everybody ducks except you. You covered yourself with a invisibility spell.

Thanos looks towards the sound, then picks up the Collector and throws him into a collecting case before walking towards the disturbance.

"Okay. Gamora, Mantis, you go right. I'm... Where is Y/n?", Quill asked as he whispered and Gamora pointed towards Thanos.

All of them saw you standing in front of the mad titan except the titan himself.

You held your sword in your hand, the firefly shimmered in the light and Thanos walked forward.

You broke your spell and stabbed Thanos in his Throat sliced it open in the process.

"Get what you deserve you bastard, you took the most precious person in my life!", you screamed and used your magic to torture him until he died.

Gamora breaks down, sobbing. As she saw what you had done to him. She wanted to kill him herself but wasn't sure if she could have done it.

" That was quick.", Quill said surprised." "Magnificent! Magnificent! Magnificent!", the collector clapped as you made your sword disappear.

Suddenly, Thanos' disembodied voice fills the room.

" Is it sadness I sense in you, daughter? In my heart, I knew you still cared. But one ever knows for sure. Reality is often disappointing."

The scene disappears -- everything in the room is destroyed and/or on fire, the Collector waving bye-bye as he and his case vanish.

" I should have known.... ", you thought.

" That is, it was. Now... reality can be whatever I want." Thanos is quite alive and undamaged. He has the red Reality Stone seated in the Infinity Gauntlet.

"You knew I'd come.", Gamora said and looked up at Thanos.

"I counted on it. There's something we need to discuss, little one.", Gamora hesitates for a beat, then reaches for her broken sword. Thanos grabs her by the back of the neck and swings her around in front of him.

"Thanos!", Drax who was fully awake again screamed.

With a pulse of the Reality Stone, both Drax and Mantis are 'disassembled' -- Drax is turned into a stack of tumbling cubes, and Mantis becomes a ribbon version of herself. Thanos sent a puke towards you as well yet nothing happened again, strange. Seems like your mother was right about the fact that dark magic flows in your veins and in infinity stones which makes you immune to their magic.

Quill moving in, his blaster pointed right at Thanos, "Let her go, Grimace!"

"Peter..."

"I told you to go right."

"Now? Really?"

"You let her go!"

" Ah, the boyfriend.", Thanos chuckled.

" I like to think of myself more as a Titan-killing long-term booty call. Let her go.", Quill replied angry.

"Peter..."

"Or I'm gonna blow that nut sack of a chin right off your face!"

"Not him."

Quill hesitates. He does not shoot anyone.

" You promised! You promised.", Gamira cried.

"Oh, daughter. You expect too much from him. [to Quill] She's asked, hasn't she? Do it." There is a very tense and unpleasant pause. Thanos rolls his head and shoves Gamora towards Quill's gun, egging him on.

" DO IT!!", Thanos yells.

Quill teared up, "I told you to go right."

"I love you, more than anything.", Gamira replied.

" I love you, too."

Quill screws up his eyes and pulls the trigger -- but a stream of bubbles comes out. Thanos was playing him.

Thanos Genuinely sincere, "I like you" .

Thanos teleports Gamora and himself away as a stunned Quill picks up Gamora's sword, and his friends painfully re-assemble themselves, the Reality Stone's effects now subsiding in its absence. You all went back on the ship and didn't talk a word for hours until a message of a woman named Nebula got through you.

She said that the whole crew should meet her on Titan, the old home of Thanos.

While you were sitting in a chair looking around you pulled out the now repaired hair clip and put it back in your hair. You tried to make a portal but it didn't work, great.... You tried to enter another dimension, well at least you could do that.

You were scared to go back and see your parents. You were scared to see Loki standing there, waiting for you. Even if you wanted to see him so much right now, the thought of him not being in Valhalla hurt you. What if he went to Hel because of all the things he had done? You didn't want to imagine that.

Time flew by and you landed on a planet with demolished buildings, Titan.
