For the first time in his life, Hoseok was truly afraid. For the first time in his life, he had something to lose. He didn't realize how sheltered and privileged he'd been until this moment. Y/N had lectured him multiple times but hearing it was one thing. Getting smacked in the face with it is something else.

He tossed and turned in his bed, wondering if now that he'd finally gotten what he wanted....if it was going to be taken from his grasp.

"Hey, Ssem."

"Joonie!" The middle-aged man glanced up and grinned, standing up to envelop his old student in a hug. "I don't see you around much anymore." Namjoon winced.

"Classes keep me busy."

"That'll be over soon though, right?"

"My undergrad will be. I don't think I'll be done with school though."

"Oh? Isn't a business degree enough training to run this place?" The man teased. Namjoon grinned.

"Yes. But I want to understand the inner workings, not just boss people around. I'm thinking of something engineering related." The man slapped him on the back.

"Your father should be proud to have you as his successor."

"Thanks, Ssem." Namjoon beamed but then grew serious. "Would you be able to take care of something for me?"

"Ah, that's the real reason you came down here."

"Stop being silly, you know I visit during breaks." The man smiled at him and held out his hand for the file Namjoon was holding. He hesitated, in a way he felt like he was perpetuating the violation. But he needed his man fully informed to be able to do things right.

"I'd appreciate it if you make sure none of it gets shared. And I need the file shredded afterwards." The man flipped it open and raised his eyebrows.

"Hot damn. Who is she?"

"Hoseok's girlfriend." The man looked up at him incredulously.

"One of you got caught?" Namjoon remained serious.

"She's had a stalker for awhile, he even showed up at her home. I think he's finally realized he won't be able to have her so he's decided to ruin her instead."

"So clean it up?"

"Yes, please. I don't want a trace left."

"I can do that. Give me a day or two."

"Thank you, Ssem." Namjoon turned to leave but stopped and turned back, his old teacher eyeing him curiously.

"Could you...we're all very pissed about this. She's a friend to all of us. She's a friend to me." The man smirked and nodded.

"Make their computer lives a little miserable too? You got it, young man." Namjoon bowed respectfully before leaving. The man looked at the photos again and shook his head before opening a window on his computer.

"Damn, that Jung boy scored."

Hoseok hadn't expected to feel so....ignorant. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do. Sex? He was good at that. But Y/N was his first for everything else. His first female friend. He still wasn't entirely sure how that had happened. She was his first girlfriend, although neither of them had used the word yet. Now he understood why some people bought marriage books. This stuff seemed so complicated.

Once again, he was standing in their dance studio, memories flooding back. Y/N had left for class, waving good-bye absentmindedly. It had been awkward talking to her sister and mom about the photos. Y/N wasn't really on speaking terms with her dad and didn't really want to hear what he had to say. Hoseok had realized, when he'd asked who she'd been on the phone with the morning after he tucked her in, that there was still so little about her he knew.

After she'd gotten through to him, he'd begrudgingly become her dance teacher. He didn't touch her again. No one new joined and she was the only person willing to put up with him so his dance professor delightedly kept pairing them together and he sucked it up.

One day he'd made an off-handed comment and she'd laughed. It had startled him but he found he liked it. He liked her laugh. He wanted to hear it again.

And then he realized Namjoon's new English partner, the smart one he kept rambling on about, was her. Jimin mentioned one day that he'd seen her on campus and stopped to talk to her, introducing himself. Everyone was curious about the girl who had rejected Hoseok, so Namjoon was tasked with inviting her to one of their parties. That was when they had realized her secret. Namjoon had stepped towards a hot girl and Y/N's hand was on his arm, gently pulling him back as she shook her head. She'd pointed out another girl. Namjoon later found out the girl he'd originally picked came with a boatload of drama he wouldn't have wanted to deal with. So then they started asking for her opinion on her picks and she'd never been wrong.

And then Jungkook needed tutoring....and then Taehyung....and before Hoseok had known it she was teasingly telling him she'd better not hear about his latest conquest at the studio tomorrow. They'd performed together and placed well. It was the first time he'd been able to do a partner choreography. Well...the first time since puberty had hit him. And then he'd been hungry one afternoon and thought she might be too. That's how their lunches started.

She'd started attending their weekday gatherings when she stayed late helping Jungkook study one night. Then another time she'd been sleepy so she'd tossed her legs over his, startling him. But it had made him feel strangely relieved. Like he was forgiven. He hadn't understood why it was so important to him at the time. It had all happened so naturally he almost hadn't noticed. Now he wished he'd paid attention and taken notes. How did you grow close to your girlfriend? Did you just go on dates and talk? Is that what they did in movies?
