"Hey, how was....what the fuck happened?!" Hoseok dropped his bag on the floor, rushing forward and grabbing Y/N's head to inspect it. She had a bruise on her temple and a cut on her cheek.

"I got punched." Her voice was muffled since he was gripping her head. "Let go, I've been grabbed enough for one day." He loosened his grip but didn't let go until she pulled her head back and went back to gently trying to bandage the cut. She'd left the bathroom door open, since she wasn't changing and hadn't expected him to be back just yet. Hoseok looked in the mirror and saw the bruises forming on her jaw.

"Who punched you?"

"Just some idiots." She reached to pick up the bandage on the counter and winced, something that didn't escape his notice.

"Did they hit you anywhere else?"

"Hobi, it's fine, I took care of it, it's not a big deal..."

"Where did they hit you." He demanded and she sighed before lifting her shirt up, realizing he wasn't going to let it go. He frowned, his gaze growing dark, as he saw the darkening bruises. He reached out to touch them and she leaned away and hissed. "I think we should go to the hospital...."

"I don't want to." She shoved her shirt down and placed the band-aid on her cheek.

"We need to check and make sure nothing was broken..."

"Hobi, I don't want to go. Stop nagging me and hovering over me." She spat. She tried to shove by him but Hoseok caught her and didn't let go, even when she tried to jerk away. He was irritated for a split second before realizing her attitude was probably coming from the pain and not actually directed at him. He hoped.

"Who did this? Who it you?" She avoided his eyes. "Y/N, please tell me." He pleaded, taking a softer tone and giving her puppy dog eyes. It might work. If she was looking at him.

"If I tell you, you'll blame yourself." She said softly. "And it's not your fault." Hoseok's eyes widened.

"One of my old fucks?" It felt like ages before she nodded her head and he sighed before wrapping her up in a hug, careful not to disturb her bruises.

"I'm sorry."

"I knew you'd blame yourself."

"It's not that it's....god, if I'd known I was going to meet you I never would've had sex with any of them..."

"What happened, happened, Hobi. Honestly, I suspected there might be some backlash, although I expected some snippiness, not physical assault..."

"Do you know their names?" She shook her head.

"There were three. They looked like athletes. One had curly brown hair, one straight brown hair, one was Korean. I think I've seen one of them playing on the volleyball team." Hoseok had vague memories of his sporty phase. That had been two years ago and, yes, he'd slept his way through the school's volleyball team in one semester. He knew a couple of the girls had been really into him since but he'd ignored them and not given them another thought.

"So there were three of them, one of you, and this is what you look like?"

"I'm not some damsel-in-distress, I am fully capable of defending myself." She groused as he kissed the top of her head and smirked.

"I believe you." That didn't mean he wasn't going to say his piece.

The girls apparently hung out a lot, which he discovered when he strolled into the girls' locker room after volleyball practice and found them all changing together. It wasn't anything he hadn't seen before and he didn't spare it a second glance.

The locker room went quiet as women started realizing a man was in the locker room and a few hurriedly tossed on clothes and scurried away. Hoseok's eyes were dead-set on those three as he walked up to them. They grew quiet as he stopped and glared down at him. He didn't miss how their eyes traveled up and down his body.

"Let me make one thing absolutely clear. To all of you." The last part was spoken loudly to everyone else. "You touch my girlfriend, I will make you miserable. Assuming she doesn't beat the shit out of you first." He didn't miss how the girls moved like Y/N had gotten a couple kicks in. "Is that understood?" There were nods and the girls he towered over nodded meekly. He turned and walked away, as casually as he'd walked in.
