"Take me to her." Namjoon said firmly. Dr. Lee cocked his head.
"What's your relationship to the patient?"
"Take...." Taehyung slapped a hand over Namjoon's mouth to keep him from saying anything more and possibly pissing the doctor off.
"Please, sir." His eyes began filling with tears. He blinked them back, holding tightly to Namjoon as the man struggled. "Please. She's our friend. We were told she was dead and have been looking for the body because the murderer refused to tell us where it was. Her boyfriend has had a breakdown. Please, let us see her." Dr. Lee stood looking at both of them for a long moment as Taehyung released Namjoon, who straightened his shirt but said nothing more.
"I'll let you see her. But you need to fill out her paperwork."
"Yes, sir. Thank you, sir." Taehyung bowed and both men eagerly followed the doctor.
Dr. Lee wouldn't let them inside the room but still....looking through the glass, Namjoon covered his eyes and turned away. He wasn't sure if he was crying because she was alive or because she looked so bad. She had a couple IVs and there was bad bruising on the side of her face. She looked frail and weak.
But she was alive. He pulled out his phone, fingers shaking as he tried dialing Hoseok's number. There was no response so he dialed Yoongi's.
"Did you find her?" Was the first thing Namjoon heard. Yoongi's voice was soft but he wanted to know. He needed to know.
"Yes." Namjoon's voice was tear-filled. There was a long pause.
"I'll tell Hoseok."
"He needs to come to the hospital, hyung. I'll send you the location."
"Wait. What?"
"Yoongi-hyung. I don't know how, but she's alive. She's not awake but she's breathing. Hoseok needs to come here, he needs to see her."
"He's on his way." Yoongi abruptly hung up, leaping off the couch and running towards Hoseok's door. He banged on it but got no response. He tried the door, but it was locked.
"Hobi, open the door! Open the damn door! Hobi!" He shook the doorknob. "Hobi, she's alive and I want to see her so stop this shit and come out already!" A second later the door flew open and Yoongi stumbled forward, catching himself on Hoseok. Hoseok's hair was all over the place, he was in the PJs he'd been wearing the last three days, and his eyes were crazed.
"Is this a joke?" Yoongi shook his head, grabbing Hoseok's wrist and pulling him towards the front door.
"Joon wouldn't joke about something like this."
-
Hoseok just took a seat in the hall, limply staring at the wall once he'd seen Y/N. He didn't know what to think. He didn't know how to feel. The doctor seemed confident that she would eventually regain consciousness. He just didn't know when.
He was relieved. But he was scared. What if she was too hurt by what he said to want him anymore?
-
Hoseok wouldn't leave unless one of the other ones physically dragged him to their apartment and forced him to shower and change. Namjoon still flew her sister in and the woman was very gracious, giving Hoseok a hug. One he felt he didn't deserve.
Classes started. Y/N had been moved. Her head was slowly healing, her body was getting the nutrients it needed. Hoseok had her sister sign off on moving her to a hospital close to his home. The sister wanted to stay but unfortunately her leave had only been so long so she had to go back to her job.
Hoseok didn't want to go to classes but he forced himself. If Y/N still wanted him when she woke up, if, he wanted to be better for her. He didn't want her to wake up and see him a complete wreck without her. He was.....but he could only see that stressing her out. So he forced himself to go, did his assignments while sitting by her bedside, and hoped that she would eventually wake up. There was now no reason for her not to. It was entirely up to her.

Jungkook pursed his lips, hands in his pockets, as the man was brought in and chained to the table in front of him. He cocked an eyebrow as the man looked him up and down.
"See something you like?" The man snorted and looked away.
"You come to ask me where she is again? I'm not telling. I won't let you guys have her." It was the same old story. If Mordecai couldn't have her, they couldn't either. Jungkook marveled at how the man could hate her so much, spew venom about her, and yet cling to her so tightly.
Jungkook shrugged.
"It doesn't matter anymore. We found her." Mordecai stilled.
"You're lying." Jungkook smirked and walked over, leaning forward and towering over the man in front of him.
"We. Found. Her. And apparently you suck at killing people." Mordecai paled and sat back.
"No."
"Oh, yes." Jungkook said gleefully. "She's alive. Recovering. But alive. You fucked up, man."
"Why am I here?" Mordecai's voice had suddenly become less confident. Jungkook laughed, actually laughed at him, before turning and walking towards the door. He stopped and turned his head so Mordecai would hear each word clearly.
"Because I know nothing will drive you crazier than knowing you sacrificed your freedom to take away hers and you failed. You'll rot away forever in some prison cell, assuming I feel generous and don't let some inmate or guard torture you to death, and know that she's living happily and you don't even cross her mind. Because Hoseok will make sure she's too busy to think of you." Jungkook heard the chains jerk and he smiled in satisfaction. He'd listened to everything Namjoon had said in the previous months and had thought about this long and hard. He wanted Mordecai to suffer on the level Y/N had. And for someone like him, knowing everything had been given up, knowing he'd failed and she was untouched, it would be torture. He'd sacrificed everything and gotten nothing.
Served him right.
