"I'm looking for Y/N Y/LN. I was told she was here?" Obviously Western. Hoseok nodded. Despite his misgivings, the man didn't seem like he'd be much of a threat.

"What do you want with her?" Hoseok challenged, still not entirely sure if he wanted this man anywhere near Y/N.

"That's my business." The man smiled but Hoseok detected a hint at something else under those words. Hmmm.

"Well, I'm her friend so if you want me to help you find her I need to know who you are." The man cocked an eyebrow and looked Hoseok up and down.

"Are you gay?" What the fuck...

"No." Hoseok replied. He hated how sometimes people assumed that because he took care of his appearance that that meant he wasn't into women. Like women didn't deserve to be dressed up for.

"Interesting."

"Why's that interesting?"

"Because Y/N avoids straight men." Hoseok laughed at the man. He couldn't help it, he wasn't trying to be rude, but she was straight up known for hanging out with the Seven. That was a bunch of bullshit. The man seemed nonplused by Hoseok's reaction.

"Well, you must be an old friend because I tried to seduce her and she still puts up with me." The man pursed his lips and nodded thoughtfully.

"Yes, it has been awhile since I've seen her. It's hard to make contact with her these days, I was hoping to reconnect." Hoseok debated for a second, still not liking the vibe he was getting. But.....

It was really up to Y/N. And if the man was lying and meant her harm....he could always toss him out of the house. That might be kinda fun actually.

"She's over there." He pointed her out and noticed the man's jaw and fist clench at the sight of her with Taehyung. Hoseok knew it was no big deal, he knew that Taehyung wasn't actually pressed up against her. But to someone who didn't know his dancing techniques as well, it sure looked like they were close. Hoseok gestured for the man to follow him and carefully weaved his way through, towards the dancing couple.

Y/N turned when he tapped her shoulder, her slight buzz obvious, her smile brilliant. But her smile faded and she came to a rigid stand-still as Hoseok stepped to the side and held his arm out to the man who had followed him.

"Y/N, this man says he's an old friend of yours..."

"Mordecai." She breathed, taking a step back into a very surprised Taehyung.

"Y/N." The man inclined his head then glanced around. "So this is what you do now? Whore yourself out?" Hoseok's head snapped back to the man, he had been studying Y/N's face, in disbelief. Before Y/N could say anything...

"EXCUSE ME?!" He was going to continue but Y/N took a deep breath, stepped forward, and gently laid her hand on his arm.

"This is my problem, Hobi. Stay out of it." She turned and glared at the man.

"That's my business. I said I didn't want to see you. I said no. You need to respect that." The man's face changed to one of menace and he stepped forward, crowding her. But Y/N didn't move back. Inside she was shaking, fighting the urge to cower, like she'd always done. But on the outside she stood strong.

"I don't need to respect anything. You're mine." He hissed at her. Y/N lost it. She was tired of this. Of him. She didn't care if it was playing into his hand, if he was trying to get her worked up in front of friends so they'd think she was crazy and leave her. Her hand came back and before anyone could react she slapped him, her face complete fury. Then she stuck her finger in his face.

"I don't believe to ANYONE! I told you to leave me alone so LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!" The man grabbed her hand and yanked her forward, turning to drag her to the door. No woman disrespected him like this....overemotional bitches.

A scene was being caused and Jin had appeared, standing on the outside of the dancing crowd. But when Mordecai grabbed Y/N, he started pushing his way through. Hoseok grabbed the man's arm and Taehyung pulled Y/N back, his arms sliding protectively around her waist.

The man had a bruising grip on her wrist but Y/N, momentarily incapacitated by shock, growled in frustration and delivered a swift kick to the back of his knee before yanking her arm back.

"Buddy, you need to leave." Hoseok said seriously, pushing the man forward before he could reach back and grab her again. Taehyung pressed Y/N up against him and turned slightly, placing himself between her and the man. If he threw Hoseok off and came back he wouldn't be able to grab her without pulling Taehyung off first.

In any other situation, Taehyung would've expected a look and her to quickly pull away and/or lecture him. The situation had obviously shaken her since she did nothing, just craned her neck for a potential threat.

"I got you." He assured her quietly, resting his chin on her shoulder and rocking her slightly.

"Let me go..." Jin reached them and both he and Hoseok physically dragged the man to the door and pushed him out.

"Leave before I call the cops." Jin warned. The man hmphed and crossed his arms.

"So this is what she does now, behaves like a common whore?! Lets her emotions rule her instead of staying where she belongs in her place?!" Jin and Hoseok just stared at him. This man was whacked out and delusional. Overemotional, seriously? It was the pot calling the kettle black. Hoseok regretted ever showing him where Y/N was and exposing her to someone who thought he could dictate what she did and where she belonged.

"What do you mean, "her place"?!" Jin demanded, his voice taking on a warning tone.

"She's let herself be deceived, she fell for the lie of education. All it's done is convince her she can have a life outside of marriage and serving her husband." The man muttered.

"What on earth..." They heard Yoongi's surprised voice behind them, not giving Hoseok or Jin a chance to reply. He had seen the commotion and left his potential one-night stand to come over and see if he was needed. He'd gotten within earshot on the last part. He stepped forward between Jin and Hoseok and looked the man in the eye coldly.

"I don't know who you think you are but Y/N is our friend and we respect her decisions. If you know what's good for you, you'll not show up in her life ever again."

"I do what I..." Yoongi's eyes blazed and his jaw clenched, he stepped up. The man was a little taller than him but it didn't matter in that moment.

"I can completely destroy your life on a whim." He gestured to Jin and Hoseok. "We all can. I suggest you back down." The man didn't look impressed. "Go look us up. Bangtan. If that doesn't scare you then come to my office so I can convince you." Yoongi pulled out a business card and flicked it at the man. The man looked like he wanted to say something else but settled for glaring and, finally, walking away.

They all breathed a sigh of relief.

"This better not have cost me my night or I'll have that man tracked down and made miserable." Yoongi grumped, before turning and looking for the woman he'd been seducing.
