"This thing is the Master of the Land, y-yeah..." Inosuke's voice quivered as he beheld the massive, mechanical transportation known as the Infinity Train. "It controls the land. There's no mistaking its length and intimidating aura... I'll go on the attack first! PIG ASSAULT!!"
Of course, it was definitely not what the boar-headed male claimed to be. Zenitsu was appalled at his inexperience and lack of knowledge of the newest mode of transportation that had become such a wonder all across Japan. Tanjirou was no better. Zenitsu had a hard time both educating the mountain-dwelling bumpkins and placating them as to not embarrass him further and rise suspicion from the authorities. He finally pushed them both into the train once he bought the tickets and heaved out a large sigh.
"Ohoho! We're in the belly! It's the beginning of the fight!!"
"SHUT UP!" Zenitsu yelled and smacked Inosuke on the head, but the male was far too excited and explored around the interior with wild determination. The blonde turned to Tanijirou with an exasperated look, clearly blaming him for dragging them along on this train to find a pillar. "So this Rengoku-san is a pillar? Do you even know what he looks like?"
"Yeah, he's a guy with flashy hair, and I remember his smell..." Tanjirou looked around with his nose in the air. "He's very close—"
"Tasty! Tasty! Tasty!"
The two followed the energetic voice and immediately found who they were looking for. There was no mistake in the pillar's hair and aura. Before the man was a mountain of bento boxes and he was still digging into a new one.
"There... He is..."
"Seriously?" Zenitsu was beyond skeptical as he whispered into the other male's ear. "Isn't he just a glutton?"
"Uhhh, excuse me..." the water breath user called out to the pillar. "Rengoku-san...?"
"Tasty!" Kyoujurou said as he turned to face them. He instantly recognized Tanjirou as the one who was on trial before his disciple, and he didn't mind the male's look of exasperation at the amount of food he was consuming. "Yes?"
"Shinobu-san asked us to come find you," Tanjirou explained with a mix of hesitance and confusion. "I have a question about your flame breathing... And I have a message from Akiho-san."
The Flame Pillar's eyes lit up as he patted the seat besides him, "Come sit!"
⚔
"Ah, so that's it!"
Kyoujurou smiled after Tanjirou finished telling him everything he knew about the 'Dance of the Fire God' that was used against the Lower Moon Five and his disciple's wholesome parting message. He could just imagine her pout in his mind! Buying 50 dangos would be of no big task, and he reminded himself to purchase them from the train maids once they came back around—the train was truly a wonder in that it sold so much good food!
