When the sleeping demon slayers forced themselves to wake up from Enmu's Blood Demon Art of inducing a forever dream, thanks to their strong will power and unconsciousness, they were hurled into an intense battle with the Lower Moon One who has fused his entire body with the train. The Flame Pillar, upon being taken out of his happy dream, immediately grasped onto the situation and was protecting five of the eight wagons to keep the demon train from devouring the sleeping passengers. The other three were guarded by Zenitsu and Nezuko while Tanjirou and Inosuke went head-on in the main compartment where Enmu's fused head lie to end the nightmare once and for all.
The lives of 200 people was in their hands, and no one was willing to let a single person die.
Tanjirou was having trouble keeping awake from Enmu's Coerced Swooning Sleep eyeballs but kept slashing away and forcing himself to die in his dreams to get back into reality. It was a scary thought to cut his own throat each time, but he had to do it—
Wake up now!!
Before he could slit his throat again, Inosuke's sword clanged against his black blade.
"This isn't a dream! Oi! It's reality!!" he shouted, "Don't get caught in any traps and die in a lame way Manjibo!"
"Inosuke—!! Don't look into the eyes!"
"I'm wearing the hide of the mountain master! I'm not afraid to make eye contact with these things whatsoever!" the male slashed down with both swords at the incoming flesh and eyeballs, not once faltering. "You small-fry eyeballs!!"
Tanjirou was stunned at Inosuke's display of fearlessness and his ability to keep himself from falling asleep, but he immediately realized what the male was doing. I see! He has a hard time realizing where the gazes are coming from...! he thought before maroon eyes widened in horror. The train conductor was sneaking up towards the half-bare male with a bone pick. "INOSUKE!!"
"Don't get in the way of my dreams!" the conductor shouted desparately. "I need to see my dead wife and kids!!"
Tanjirou didn't have time to move Inosuke out of the way because the head of the train was too narrow and cramped, and thus he did the only thing he could think of and that was to jump in front of the unaware demon slayer.
Stab!

Akiho shot up from her sleep with a deep gasp.
The sensation made her feel like she was having a nightmare. She was sweating slightly and she pushed the covers off of her body to see that her fingers were twitching. An invisible tug was was causing this to happen, and she was immediately aware of the danger that Tanjirou was in. Before the slayer had left with the rest, she grabbed onto his wrist and secretly used her Blood Demon Art to connect a lifeline between her and the male: String of Fate.
