Higashikuze Akiho's very existence was thought to be taboo among demons and humans alike: she was a half-demon, the first of her kind. But being taken in and rasied by a former pillar with a strong sense of justice and a hatred for Kibutsuji Muzan...

Akiho opened her eyes to see the earliest signs of morning and the sensation that she was being carried by a kakushi. Immediately, she tired to remember the events that happened which led to this. She was in the Red Light District, fighting the two upper moons and when both of the heads were cut off, there was an explosion... She had shielded the impact for Inosuke and Zenitsu because she figured she will be able to heal from it a lot better than the two humans. Everything went dark after that.
"You're awake..." Harada sounded gruffly, drawing her attention away after he felt some movement on his back. "We're almost to the Butterfly Estate."
"Is everyone okay?" she asked coarsely. The wounds on her body hurt, but it was nothing compared to the thought of losing another person.
"Uzui-sama's wives told us what happened after the explosion. You were knocked unconscious after taking the brute of the impact... The other three have injuries that needs to be treated extensively so they passed out after a while as well. The blonde seems okay, but we were told the other two were poisoned heavily along with Uzui-sama by the demon..." he trailed off slightly before continuing. "Uzui-sama walked off on his own with his three wives supporting him though. He's tough."
Everyone is alive. Good...
"Oh...! What about Nezuko?"
Harada motioned towards another kakushi who was carrying the wooden backpack. "She's been sleeping in that crate for a while now. We were told she stopped the inflammation of the poisons on the others before we got there so it was a big help. Anyway, you should stop worrying so much and conserve energy since you're still pretty badly injured."
The kakushi who was normally angry at her was actually worried about her... It made Akiho slightly happy. "I'm alright," she replied softly. "Thank you, Harada-san."
"For what? I'm just doing my job."
"I know."
"Hmph."
No matter what, she was happy to hear that everyone made it out of the Red Light District. Tengen and his wives were safe, and she had faith in her fellow slayers to push through and do the same. The battle between the demon slayers the the Upper Moons was won... For now.

Akiho's injuries was healing by itself for the most part and she had been taking it easy in the Butterfly Estate for a week as Aoi and the servants tended to her. Aoi was in shambles knowing that the slayers were hurt because they took her place in going with Tengen, so it made her work even harder to make sure that everyone was taken cared of. Zenitsu had woken up the day after the incident and kept her company while they were bedridden.
