Also there was a little bit of confusion in the last chapter about the prophecy and that she's going to die. Hopefully this chapter will explain a little bit more on what I meant. Sorry again.

"What?" I say, my mouth hanging out of my mouth. "What did you say."

James sighs. "Let me rephrase that."

The queen jumps in. "What he means is that the choice between self sacrifice or someone else will take your place."

She lets the words settle in as I sit in silence. How? Why me out of everyone? What makes me so special?

"But what about immortality? Don't I have that?" I ask. Panic spreading through my body.

Celeste takes in a deep breath. "Yes, but it can only get you so far, moya zhizn' (my life, sorry if I'm say this wrong, blame google translate :P). There's a difference between someone else killing you and self sacrifice. The people who are after you are trying to get your immortality."

"Who?" Grayson demands. "Who are you taking about?"

"There is much you don't know, young king" James warns. His words seem like they have a double meaning.

We say nothing. Grayson breaths heavily besides me and I glance around the room nervous. My heart rate picks up and I take in fast breaths.

Too much to handle at one time.

"Are you okay?" Asks the Queen after a moment of silence.

I look up at her. Her eyes have pity in them and she looks like she's about to cry.

"No." I say.

I lean into Grayson thankful that he's sitting next to me, although he does t look to great either.

Breathing in his scent calms me down and brings me back to earth. The situation at hand is far more important than some stupid anxiety attack.

"So how do we move forward from here?" I ask. "What is our next move."

My biological parents look at each other. "That's where we were hoping to come up with a plan together, with the two of you."

Great so there's no plan an basically it's up to me and Grayson again. Not surprising.

"Before we can even go further into his plan, your going to have to fill us all in about the prophecy. We need to know every bit of information that you have." Grayson pops in. Now he seems like the strong and brave leader I know he is.

"That's what we planned on doing." Announced the King. "However you must tell your beta and beta female. It is critical that we get everyone one this so we can save Iris."

"Don't worry," I say. "I will personally tell the both of them after this."

"Good." Says the King. He looks at me with sympathetic eyes and I have to look away before I start bawling. "The prophecy says that there will be a final battle. In the final battle the white wolf will self sacrifice but there's a choice. Someone else will be able to take their spot. The moon goddess has to be paid with a life to wipe out all the ones that she must take. Life for a life."

My biological mother clings to him while she stares at the table in between us. It must be hard for her. After getting her daughter back, she might loose her again.

"I feel like your not telling us the whole truth." I say shakily.

My father looks at me straight in the eye. "If you fail to complete this, the whole werewolf race will go into extinction. The only werewolves left will be the rogues who will rule over every race on earth."
