A Few Days After Chapter 28*

Remnant 7*

The Flash's POV*

I narrated "To understand the things I'm about to tell you, I need to do something for me first. I need to believe in the unexplained. Can you do that for me? Good.".

A red bolt of lightning sped across a street.

I continued narrating "You see that Red Bolt Of Lightning? That's little old me.".

The red bolt of lightning sped across another street.

I narrated "That too.". 

The red bolt of lightning saved a woman from almost getting hit by a bus and pulled her to safety.

I narrated "There I am again. My name is Ruby Rose. And I am the fastest thing alive. My story is pretty simple. My whole life I've been running. After that night however, I was running from something much scarier. Something I could never explain. Something impossible to explain. Well, enough about me, onto the story at hand.".

12 Months Before The Narration Takes Place*

I was on the job hunting for a Grimm that was in Vale City.

The reports say that it's a Beowulf Grimm but I didn't want to today.

The girls at the lab told me that they were picking up on some extra dimensional energy.

I was sad I didn't get to see them perform the test.

I was now in the power plant trying to find and kill this goddamn Grimm Beowulf that was eluding death.

I stopped and looked up when a weird blue and black portal opened up in the sky.

It sent a wave of energy out and hit me into an electric box making me scream my head off until I fell down and lost consciousness.

Flashback To Childhood*

I was sitting at the counter in my home and my mom made cookies.

I hummed happily as I ate one.

I heard the door open and heard my father say "I'm home.".

I didn't get up to greet him because these cookies were more important right now.

He walked in and asked "How was you day, kiddo.".

I hummed with a cookie in my mouth.

Mom said "She got into a fight and protected some kids from getting bullied.".

Dad pat me on the back and said "You did a good thing kid.".

I nodded and kept eating these delicious cookies.

Later That Night*

I awoke in my bed to screams of terror.

I looked and saw the milk in my glass of milk and found the milk floating in mid air.

I walked downstairs and found my parents in the middle of a clash between two bolts of lightning.

My dad said "Run Ruby!" and I was whooshed away to a few blocks away.

I ran all the way back and found my parents gone and Mrs. Branwen holding my little hand.

Back To The Future*

I woke up in the lab with the girls around me.

I asked "What happened to me?".

Yang my step sister said "You got hit with some electricity and were in a coma."

I asked "For how long?".

Blake her girldfriend said "12 months.".

I flipped out of bed and said "12 months!!".

I turned and watched as Ozpin Wells rolled into the room on his wheelchair.

He said "You took quite the tumble there Ms. Rose.".

I had a small panic attack and said "I need to get out of here.".

As I ran out I found myself 4 blocks down from the lab.

I turned back and asked "What the hell's going on?!".

I looked down at my legs and saw them vibrating.

I ran off again.

I yelled in excitement as I soon found myself in Atlas where I knew someone I could talk to.

I found The Atlas hero Blizzard who I knew as Weiss Schnee.

Basically she was abandoned on an island for 6 years and survived all on her own until she made it back and became a hero.

We talked for a little bit until she told me that I was chosen to be a hero.

She then told me that I should get a costume.

I nodded and she disappeared in to snowflakes.

I said "Awesome!" as I begun running back to Vale City.

When I made it back I went to the lab and said "I wanna be a hero.".

Yang said "No.".

I said "But I can do this.".

Ozpin said "Ms. Branwen, it's her choice, not ours.".

Yang nodded said "Okay, but you promise me you'll be safe.".

I nodded and Blake unveiled a suit she had made for me.

I said "Now all I need is a name."

Ozpin said "How about The Flash.".

I nodded and said "I like it.".

I took the suit out for a test drive.

I narrated "My name is Ruby Rose and I am the fastest thing alive. When I was a child I saw my mother and father killed by something unexplained. I was taken in by the Branwen's after mom and dad passed away. Then an incident made me unexplainable. To the outside world, I'm an ordinary certified Huntress, but secretly I use my new found speed to fight crime and find others like me. And one day, I'll find the person who killed my mother and father and I'll get justice for their murder. I am the flash.".

Later On At Night*

Ozpin Well's POV*

I rolled into my secret office where I had a newspaper.

I pulled it up and it said "Flash saves the world from crisis.".

I smiled and said "Not long now.".

I then took my seat and rolled off to see what happens next.
