It was dark and the rain was falling like dust in the little town, Betty was sitting in a booth at Pops with her beloved daughter Juliet. She was looking at her daughter, drinking some cola and eating some fries, her long blond hair looked exactly like her mothers and her ocean blue eyes was after her dad. About two years ago Betty found out she was pregnant with Juliet, two years ago her beloved boyfriend, the father to her child moved away, he was going to college in LA leaving Betty pregnant and alone, her father died when she was 2 and her mother killed herself last summer, Betty was all alone with a child she didn't new what to do with, months was passing and Betty gave birth to a little girl. She decided not to tell anyone who the father was and her mother believed it was a one night stand child, Betty never got to tell the father that it was his, she couldn't ruin his life with her mistake. She was only 17 years old and he was 18, they were too young to have a child. Two weeks after he left her she found out she was pregnant, she couldn't get herself to call him, so know here she was with the sweetest little girl, Betty was only 19 with two jobs and a daughter.
"Mommy?"
"Yes baby?"
"Can i get some more fries?"
"yes, let me go ask Pop"
"Nooo, i want to do it, can i do it please?"
"of course baby girl, here"
Betty handed her some money and the little girl walked up to Pop. Betty closed her wallet and was about to drink some of her water when someone walked trough the doors, it was a tall young man, with dark hair and a leather jacket on, she first thought it was one of the serpents, because of the serpent jacket, he said hi to Juliet and walked over to Pop, Juliet ran down to his mother and sat down.
"Pop gave me some extra fries"
"Who was the man you said hi too?"
"he looked like uncle Fp, just younger"
The little girl started to giggle and Betty just shook her head, after she gave birth to Juliet, FP was the only one who supported her trough the whole pregnancy, he knew who the baby belong too, but he had promised not to tell anyone.
The stranger was talking with Pop, when Pop pointed over at Betty and Juliet. At first Betty didn't saw who the stranger was, but when he turned around and looked at them, her heart almost stopped, it couldn't be true, it couldn't be him no he was in LA. He walked down to her and she could feel her heart skip some beats, when he saw the little girl, his heart dropped it hurt him to see she moved on fast.
"Jug"
"Betts, and who is the sweet little girl?"
"Juliet can you say hi?"
"hi"
"So what are you doing here? i thought you where in LA"
"I decided to drop out off college and come back"
Betty nodded slowly and was hoping he wouldn't ask her about Juliet, but she knew he would.
"So Juliet how old are you?"
The little girl looked at her mother for approval to talk with the stranger
"I'm two years old"
It couldn't be true, no she would have told him if she was pregnant with his baby, but she wouldn't have cheated on him either.
"What?
He looked at Betty with so much sadness, it broke him that she either cheated on him or just didn't tell him.
"Is it true ?"
"Can we not talk about this here?"
"Then where do you want to talk?"
"We can talk at my place, i just have to deliver Juliet at a friend okay?"
"Okay"
When they finally arrived at her place she couldn't hold the tears back anymore, he was pacing around in her living room while she tried to hold back her tears.
"I need to know it, did you cheat on me back then?"
"What? no"
She grabbed his face but he just pushed her away.
"is she mine?"
Betty nodded slowly and looked down
"Why didn't you tell me?"
