Chapter 8- i dont need protection

I wake up and think to myself oh my god was that a fucking dream or did I almost commit sucide last night winning a race in a car what the fuck I'm not Danny mother fucking Zuko driving bloody grease lightning.. something is seriously wrong with me but I'm the most competitive person you will ever meet and well it almost got me killed but you know you only live once... is what I told myself but in reality I'm just a massive idiot love that
I get ready for school and head downstairs my mum wanted a family breakfast so I had to get up earlier I was absolutely dead from being out all night with knobhead Ben but I hardly get to do this because they are both so busy with work.

"Good morning honey" my mum says as I walk into the dining room and sit down

"Finally kenz how long does it take to get ready for school jeez" Kane says grabbing the pancakes from the table

"So princess I thought I would pick you up after school we have a surprise for you"

"Oh my god what is it.. Is it like a really big surprise or is it like something I'm going to be really excited for or like what the Hell is that and it's one of mums dramatic designs she wants me to wear in a runway show"

"Although that would be an amazing surprise kenz me letting you walk the runway you know I can't have 16 year olds they won't let me it's so sad "

"Devastating mum" I say sarcastically as even imagining it sends my self consciousness through the roof

"No we are talking you to get a new car honey" my dad says

"Your joking oh my god can I like choose whatever car I want it has to be better than kanes"

"I swear to god dad if she gets a more expensive car than  me I won't be happy she wrote her first one of"

"Yes you can choose Kenz but kane is right you did wreck your old one so you will be having a limit this time"

"Ahahaha unlucky kenz" Kane says

"WHAT! Dad kane had no limit he could get whoever car he wanted so it's not my fault if he didn't make a right decision is it"

"No Mckenzie you are lucky we are letting you have another car" my mum says being super serious

"Okay fine.. mum your supposed to be the chill parent how the hell has the rolls reversed" To be fair I didn't give a shit what car I had I was only trying to piss kane of because his car is his baby it's quite sad...

"Alright then Kenzie we better go.."

"Yeah okay.." not going to lie I was quite nervous for school just incase I got caught.. but I can't keep anything from kane so I decided to tell him

"So I snuck out last night and clingfilmed the school"

"Wait what why did you do that for"

"One of my cheer initiation dares"

"Oh my god kenz you will defo get caught"

"What's that supposed to mean.."
