Javier's POV...

Me: I'm gonna take a group down and try and make peace with them.

Kate: We're still at war with them. You really think that's a good idea?

Me: They've combined with the others. That has to mean they're open for negotiation.

Kate: I don't know.

Me: We don't have a choice. We're struggling to survive in this old factory.

Kate: If the Olympians find out we're still alive...

Me: They won't.

She sighs.

Kate: Be safe.

Unknown: It took us losing our home to end the war.

We're walking through a wooded area in the direction of one of the communities we're at war with. Once Richmond fell, they combined with the remaining community to fight the Olympians. There aren't many of us left, so a negotiation is needed.

Me: We don't have much of a choice; unless you want to keep living in that factory, Kody.

Kody: Nah, just wish we would've ended it sooner.

Unknown: We still have the Olympians to fight, so it isn't over yet.

Kody: Don't remind me of them.

Me: Karren is right.

Kody: They don't even know we're alive.

Me: For now.

The community comes into view. It sits with its front to a river. It's back to a large hill making it hard to get into. From here I can see people scrambling as we approach.

Once across the river a voice calls out to us.

Unknown: That's far enough! Put your hands up!

We comply. The gate opens and five people walk out with guns trained on us.

Unknown: Any weapons on you?

Me: Just some weapons for Walkers.

Unknown: What's your business here?

Me: I am Javier Garcia. I was a part of Richmond. I've come to negotiate.

Unknown: Javier huh? Thought you were all dead Hold on, let me talk to the boss.

He walks a short distance away.

Kody: You forgot to mention you're the leader.

Me: I'm sure they know.

Unknown: Javier, come with me. The other two will have to wait by the gate.

Me: Outside?

Unknown: No, they can come in. Just stay by the gate.

Unknown: Well Javier, I was surprised to hear you were here. Thought you would have died.

Me: No... Barely got out though.

Unknown: I'd imagine. How many are left?

Me: I can't tell you that yet.

Unknown: Right.

Me: You know why I'm here, right Cayde?

Cayde: Yeah, you want us to take you in.

Me: We're living in an old factory. It's awful.

He walks over to a window and looks up at the star filled sky.
