Athena groans.
You: What?
Athena: We've been searching all day. There's no one around here.
You: I don't think Deimos would waste time sending us on a wild goose chase.
Athena: We're in the middle of nowhere!
She spins around with her arms outstretched. You're on a highway, filled with old cars. Some skeletons lie on the street.
You: The sun just went down. We'll look a little longer and then set up camp for the night.
Athena: I want to sleep in my bed.
You: It's a crappy cot.
Athena: Still better than the ground.
You: Barely.
Athena: Listen here you little shit. -
You hear laughter off in the distance and hold up a finger to Athena. She gives you a funny look.
Athena: What?
You: Did you not hear that?
Athena: No what?
There's some more laughter and she hears it this time.
Athena: Shit.
She says like shes surprised youre right.
You: There's no one around here hu?
You move towards the laughter.
Athena: Don't forget I have the controller for that mask of yours.
You: Uh hu.
You walk up a hill. The sound of people talking grows louder and louder. You reach the top and lay down. You are overlooking a large factory. There is a makeshift wall surrounding it.
Athena: Anything good?
She lays down beside you, after checking to make sure you weren't followed.
You: A factory, with a wall around it.
Athena: Promising.
You: Wanna go talk to em?
Athena: We're just supposed to scout.
You: What's the fun in that?
Athena: It isn't our place to decide what happens to them.
You: It isn't anyone's.
Athena: Please don't do something stupid.
You: I'm gonna do something stupid.
Athena: No, you're going to get yourself shot. You look terrifying.
You: Soooooo, you come with me.
Athena: No.
You: Let's sneak in and look around then.
Athena: Your chains are too noisy.
You Wrap them around your arms and legs so that they aren't hanging.
You: Problem solved.
Athena: Whatever.
She stands up and dusts herself off.
Athena: Come on.
You stand up and follow her around the building. You keep your distance from it to make sure that you aren't spotted. You get to the back of it and climb the side of it.
