"Do you trust me?"

I stare at my feet. "Yeah."

He grasps my chin and forces me to look at him. "Do you trust me, Eren?"

I look into his eyes, they seem void but I can tell from the tone of his voice that his emotions are running rampant. "Yes, Levi."

"You shouldn't."

"Good."

Levi takes my hand and guides me toward a table with restraints for each limb. The room we are in is in the basement and it's soundproof, in case I start to scream.

I'm already feeling out of my body, I feel Levi help me lay down. I feel him putting each of my limbs in place. I feel him tighten the restraints. I feel him putting a blindfold over my eyes. But I'm not there for any of it. My mind is elsewhere, retreating already before we've even started.

Darkness.

"You can't see him."

"He could do anything."

I ball my firsts. I trust Levi.

"Relax, Eren."

I follow the command immediately. I hear him walk away then return with something rolling on wheels. I assume it's a cart or table full of the tools he'll need.
