Holy shit guys, it's over. I can confidently say that I am so proud of this story. This is the longest book that I've ever written and it's arguably the deepest. This book opened up the world of mental health to me and I'll be forever grateful. Besides my own illnesses, I never really looked into other disorders until I had to do research for Eren, specifically for his DID. Through this research I have learned so much and found so many amazing people who have this. I also know that a lot of my readers have it and after reading this book they gained the courage to talk about it and their alters openly which makes me so happy.

Remember that Ere-Ti isn't a perfect reflection of DID. There are some things that won't be entirely accurate, specifically being co-conscious more than individually conscious. This Eren more resembles OSDD-1b which is a sub-type of DID. I have a sibling with it and their system is wonderful. I'd definitely recommend doing your own research and looking into it, specifically from people who live with it. It's absolutely fascinating and always good to be more informed. Also, remember that this disorder forms from early childhood trauma. These people have been through horrible things and deserve love and understanding.

I also want to thank my co-author who has made this such a fun and beautiful experience for me. I couldn't have done this without her (quite literally since she came up with the idea). I want to thank her for working with me and putting up with me. This story means a hell of a lot to me and will always have a place in my heart.

Well, this has definitely been an amazing journey. Off Record embodies so many things that I never fathomed going into this. The first chapter alone (used to have) a little less than five thousand reads. That's not far off from what my most popular books are which is really fucking daunting. The feedback and reactions have been mind boggling. There have been so many comments that I just can't seem to reply to all of them (fuck you, Wattpad and how unlike Quotev, I can't get notified of activity on stories co-written on other accounts). Going through chapters to reply to comments has taken up a good chunk of my time, but if I were to go back, I'd do it all again.

Life has been a bitch during this story for everyone involved in this story. Jex was hospitalized, there was a fire in my neighborhood that cucked the power, and Mei had her own various demons to deal with. Juggling this story has been fucking hard, I'm not gonna lie, but having those two helping me has made the process a lot easier. As you all can tell, the ends justify the means we fucking did it. We finished. The document is so big that it's split up into two (which I'll have to split up into three) and the word count is out if the wazoo, but we did it and because of that, I'm proud.

As you all know from my birthday card to Jex, my co-author is very important to me. Mei describes him as the big brother, and I can't argue with her words. Though I don't know if I'd call him that because writing smut with your brother is pretty fucking weird.

Ending this is really hard, but it kinda has to. However, the characters of OR won't be ending, just this (really long) chapter in their lives. They'll live on.
