Meeting God

Everything about our existence is connected to Jesus Christ. You cannot have life without Jesus. And you cannot have life without being born again and start right at the genesis of an eternal relationship with the son of God. Everything good begins right at the point when one gives his life to Jesus Christ. Scripture all points to Jesus Christ, being the word in flesh.

So again. If any man be in Christ. If any man be immersed in Jesus Christ. If any man be clothed in Him. He it is that sees the kingdom of God. The scripture continues to say, he is a new creature. You can never be a new creation without having a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. Having an encounter is not hearing an audible voice from God. It is not having visions and prophetic dreams. An encounter is a meeting. Encountering Jesus Christ is giving your life to Him. Your very first encounter with Jesus comes at the time when you receive Him into your life.

Not until you meet Him in such a manner, you’ve never had an encounter! Have you ever thought about how different life would be without Jesus Christ? Much as we might think we are okay without Him, life would have no meaning and no direction. Jesus Christ is the only way that has ever existed. There isn’t too many roads to His direction. There’s many roads, but only one leads to Jesus Christ; hence being called the way.

Death has never been exciting! It’s rather painful and unpleasant. The only death that is to our advantage is the death of the old self! How awesome it is to be recognized as a new being. Created afresh and brought to life by the breath of the Spirit of God. At His expiration, newness of life begins.

All of this transpires to the spirit of man. The body remains the same. The soul remains the same. The only thing that changes is the spirit of man. When your spirit undergoes metamorphism, you are able to accommodate the Spirit of God.

All things with regard to the spirit of man become new. A rebirth transpires and you reconnect to God! It’s more like a cycle, but it only starts at the stage of being born again. I couldn’t emphasize that more!  The human mind can never comprehend the complexities of salvation. It takes wisdom to even glimpse at the wonders of being saved. No one goes back to visit the dead. Much as we may hold memorial services for our loved ones, none would still dare open a casket, regardless of how much we say we loved our lost ones! When something dies, it ceases to exist.

Re 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

God can only give a new name to those that are His. A father gives a name to His children. My father has only named my younger sisters and I. we are his fruit and because of that, he has every right to name us. He has a right to claim us as His. It would be weird if he went out every day after work giving names to strange little babies. God the father names the ones with whom He has a relationship with. Without the starting point of salvation, you’d miss out on pleasurable moments as such.
