Salvation is all about second chances.Had Jesus decided on staying in Heaven, who could have saved us?
Even great men like Moses and Elijah missed the requirement.
Imagine parting the red sea and still not being qualified enough to save the whole of mankind. Moses was a type of savior. He saved the Israelites. He was a limited vessel that had many Israelis turned over to God. Moses did
remarkable things. He talked to God as a man speaks to his friend. I cannot imagine anything greater than meeting God and talking face to face.

I’d enjoy even a minute of having the physical presence of God. Despite Moses doing the greatest of
things, he never qualified. The only reason why salvation is so powerful and so impactful is because of who God decided on sending. He sent the most prized vessel of heaven; His only son. God sent His best representative to die for us. What is it that could have prompted God on sending a man in great stature as Jesus, his only son?

There is nothing that we will ever do that will make God like us more or like us less. Going to heaven has
nothing to do with righteousness. Our going to heaven has everything to do with the blood that was shed for you and I. Because of the blood, we could go to heaven. None is righteous, no, not one. Only Jesus. That is why He had to come.

He wrote off what no man could ever write off. Imagine having all your wrongs covered and lifted off. Not
because you deserved it, but because someone loves you so much that He took your place and murmured not. It’s hard. It’s difficult to even give away a newly acquired possession
to some stranger and knowing there is nothing they’ll do for you in return. What could we ever do for Jesus? There is nothing we have that Jesus cannot already get by Himself. Everything we have belongs to Him anyway. He is the creator of all things. So what is it that we could give
to Jesus if not our lives? If not our passions? If not our desires? To give it all back to Him. Giving our lives to
Jesus, is entrusting ourselves to someone that died for us on
the cross. If He died for you too, what then is stopping you from receiving Him as Lord and personal savior?

The Bible describes Jesus as the good Shepherd, the
good Shepherd gives His life for His sheep. Jesus literally
gave His life for the whole world. There is nothing that will
ever stop Jesus from showing us He loves us.

Mr 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall
gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
(KJV)

What good is it for someone to gain the world, yet forfeit their soul? What profit is there for someone that
gives their life away to worldly pleasure at expense of their
salvation? This question in its sense is quite rhetorical. There is nothing that’s more important than your soul. The soul comprises of the mind (thoughts), the will and emotions. Jesus died for all so we could be at His right hand enjoying all that Heaven has to offer. Until everyone
is saved, that commission has to continue to exist.
