Ps 27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. {take...: Heb. gather me}

(KJV)

I always wondered why I had a wretched past. Don't we all think about certain events and just wonder why it happened? I know there's times in a person's life where they want to make sense of everything that occurs. If we are being honest with ourselves, we have all thought about it at one point.

What the devil doesn't want you to have is freedom and joy. That's why he doesn't really leave us. He doesn't easily let go what he has his hands on. Until we have been freed by Jesus, we are not really free.

The scripture above provides hope and it's been an encouragement to me. Not that I have attained a certain kind of strength or some sort of stability. I fall prey to the enemy's attacks more often than not. The word of God is our only hope and the word of God is the only thing that restores us to our position!

The devil will never allow you to have peace. I have realized that anxiety free zones attract the peace of God. Peace is a by-product of prayerfulness. The more we pray, the more peace we obtain from God. The less we pray, the less stable we are and the more anxious we become about everything.

Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

(KJV)

In some versions, the scripture says, 'Do not be anxious.' The bible encourages us to pray about everything. What does that mean? What does it mean to pray about everything? Well, it means just that. We should pray about everything.

If there is anything worth talking about or worth mentioning, it can be prayed about. It's amazing how some of the instructions that should be the easiest to follow are often the hardest to obey.

Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

(KJV)

Peace comes in anxiety free zones. Each time you spend some time in prayer, you attract the peace of God. Each time you mention a certain subject to God, you give God the freedom to heal you and cause you to have peace about it.

We have all been in circumstances that might have been chaotic. So chaotic that we don't talk about it with anyone. God should be the one person that you can vent out to. God has a personality and thus, He is a person. When you think of God as you think of your best friend, you would want to share with Him whatever it is that is on your mind.

What you haven't talked about in prayer with God, denies Him the freedom and power to restore you. God's willingness to restore us is highly dependent on our willingness to want to be restored. The enemy likes to keep us torn between wanting to be healed and wanting to keep to self. He makes us build walls, hence blocking out people that might help us.

What do you think changes the heart of an evil person?

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

(KJV)

It's very necessary to undergo spiritual surgery. That is, being born again if you will. Without an interaction and a personal encounter with Jesus, our hearts will always be evil with vile intentions. We need a change of heart if we ever want to accommodate Jesus Christ. Otherwise, salvation wouldn't be as important.

Nobody knows how to handle a Mercedes Benz more than the manufacturer. If it ever has a problem, I'd expect the manufacturer to know how to deal with it.

God the creator knows how to handles us more than we can even handle ourselves. When He sent Jesus Christ to us, it was His way of showing us He cared. God sent a solution when he sent Jesus Christ to earth. Jesus solved our problem when He died on the cross. And when He resurrected, he arose in newness having buried our sins.
